Carl is Tom's Youngest Son by his Late Wife Mary but Max is his youngest son overall. And to think Jimmy outlived all of his brothers. 😢

Well given Max was long dead by this point, Carl was now the youngest in the context of the brothers being upset. So it did make sense.

On the US Soap Opera Guiding Light, The Late Henry Chamberlain gave a Large Amount of his Estate to Harton Jessup aka "Hart" which was a form of Revenge. It seemed that back in The Day, Henry played a High Stakes Poker Game with Roger Thorpe (Hart's Father), Roger took him to The Cleaners and it took him a long time for Henry to forgive let alone forget although he should have known better. It was his way of saying "I never want you to depend or ask your Father for anything". This was understandable since Roger conned Hart's Grandfather Peter out of The Family Farm before he found out that Hart was His Son.

Also The Actress Glynis Barber also acted on Eastenders who didn't get anything from Archie Mitchell's Will.

Can you imagine if one of them had said "You expect us to believe that your Daughter some Wild Oat is our Father's No, and she ain't getting anything I'll fight you to the death if I have to!"

Can you imagine if Max had lived? A Multi Million Estate to be divided amongst Four Sons and a Daughter.

Oh have mercy that would have been a mess. However I can't compare Tom King's Will to Bobby Ewing's on Dallas. Tom's was straight to the point, while Bobby's sounded like he was writing a Romance Novel. Oh you know what would have been heavy if he left Grayson something so long as he left his sham of a marriage.

I'm sorry but I would have been very suspicious of Carl. He got nervous and a bit defensive about The Reading Of The Will. Couldn't he & The Brothers each request a Copy after the Reading.
