Loved it! lol Loved Finn since day one. He´s so cute, funny and awkward. I think both actors were really laughing a little bit because of how they had delivered the lines after the kiss :)

Finn is creepy to me, he's so desperate to have a boyfriend, that could be the reason he's never been able to make it work with a guy, desperation is not attractive. He might get it from his mother.

I have a very strange feeling about the two of them. If Kasim hadn't spend all that time in coma I would even think he's playing Finn for some reason. It's just too convenient and rushed imo

This is way too convenient ... makes me wonder if Kasim remembers and/or was told about Finn. I hope I'm Kasim isn't trying to pull one over because I love Finn and I'm glad he is getting to be more animated.

I don't get what Finn's problem is? If I had been in a coma and someone (that I actually like when I met them later) and who saved my life has been visiting me a lot when nobody else did, I wouldn't be mad at them at all. Why would I? Although, Finn is weitd sometimes....

That is what I was thinking also, the only odd thing was when he took credit for being Kasim's boyfriend, but that is explainable too, given the circumstances!

Plus he has a brilliant reason for doing questionable things considering he felt so alone when dealing with his father's death. Kasim seems to be the sort of person who would 100% forgive that and be very understanding and supportive.

Yeah, he just felt so alone and wanted to continue seeing him. if they'd found out he wasn't a family member he wouldn't even have had that because they would have stopped his visits. He was lonely and desperate and very upset.

Strong might have been the wrong word. Maybe I meant too "fast"! I keep forgetting how old Finn is. He did finish university but he just seems younger, but despite all the hospital stuff, they've only known each other a day and now Kasim wants to stay at the B&B. Kasim did say he just broke up with his partner. Clearly, Kasim is on the rebound. Everything just seemed like it was happening too fast.

Agree it is a bit fast, but coming so close to death, Kasim may feel he needs to take a chance and live each day like his last!

I am loving this Kasim and Finn story, kinda reminds me of Aaron and Jackson in a way. It's refreshing to see a great connection here between these two unlike the connection between Aaron and Robert. I'm still having hope they bring someone better for Aaron, I just don't see any connection between he and Robert like the chemistry he had with both Jackson and Ed.

My thought exactly. Although I do wish this storyline continues. Seems that Kasim is running away from his previous life, maybe even an abusive partner(?), he is definitely hiding something beneath that handsome face.

I also like them, but the storyline is just too hurried up and also statistically it's bit hard to believe that in a rural village size of Emmerdale they would have 3 gay couples. My first idea for his backstory was (still is) him beeing from a muslim (based on his name) family and his parents disowning him because of his sexuality. Which would actually make a good and relevant storyline. Another option is that Joe Gill wants of the series and Kasim is brought only as plot device for his exit storyline.

I would be alright with the strangely convenient coincident that Kasim is gay. It's a soap after all so stranger things have happened xD But they don't have to rush stuff like that if it's not like you said some kind of plot device..

I thought about that too and wondered if the new Hollyoaks producer had anything to do with it (considering the large lgbt community there) but most of the storylines started before he went to emmerdale. like finn came in the show as gay so him having a boyfriend would add a new gay character, and with Lawrence and Robert coming out it would of been Kate Oates that introduced those storylines. There are a few things showing up like more background music (which i personally don't mind much) and like Diane's very exaggerated out of character behaviour. I just hope the show stays true to itself. I have been enjoying some of the stunts and flare but I appreciate the more realistic, (for a soap) slower pace emmerdale has in comparison to hollyoaks. and on Kasim, that storyline would be interesting to see! reminds me of eastenders years ago with syed and christian (if you've seen that) it would make a good storyline
