Sensory and other signals are first sent to the dendrites, to the cell body and then out through the axon. The axon is the cell output. I believe you stated the process backwards. Thank you.

could you please give a reliable source ? I am still confused with biological neuron.

Sensory and other signals are first received by the dendrites, which are the branching extensions of a neuron that receive signals from other neurons or from sensory receptors. These signals then travel towards the cell body (soma) of the neuron. The cell body integrates these signals and processes them. Once the signals are integrated and processed in the cell body, they are transmitted along the axon, which is the long, slender projection of a neuron that conducts electrical impulses away from the cell body. Finally, the signals reach the axon terminals, where they can then be transmitted to other neurons or to effector cells (such as muscle cells or gland cells) via synapses.
