We are from here and remember all the farmland developers mowed over to erect housing developments resulting in our higher grocery prices. Thanks for that. We remember it was rare to see graffiti or trash. Now there is a number to ring up for graffiti and trash is everywhere. We rarely saw homelessness and that’s extremely common. Especially around the Mavericks where they used to be at the CDOT near 25. So many transplants drove up the cost of living not thinking about the people who lived here and their livelihoods. Thanks for that. I know, I know, “It’s your right to be here!” It’s not simply about what is your right, but what is morally right when someone changes the entire experience and system of where you move to. What was a town of 60,000 people and you could walk around not smelling marijuana everywhere it was like a Norman Rockwell painting. Whoever started telling people to move here should be slapped. What made where they were leaving so terrible that they had to come to Fort Collins and turn it into what they left.

Oh, please do the bus for a week. My car broke down recently and I took the bus. It is very enlightening. If more people would take the bus, we could help make it better! It is still free, too, which is convenient.

I did! It’s better than I thought but still very minimal! There’s a video on my page :-)

Absolutely love Fort Collins. This is where we will move once we retire. We visit 2-3 times a year and have fallen in love with the town. You didn't talk about the parks around town. There are quite a few for the size. Maybe include the tennis and pickle ball court options. We have played in four different parks there in town. Love your videos and love FOCO. Looking forward to retirement there.

It's expensive to retire here!

@@nancyayers8322 to some. But not all. Some it checks all the boxes and may be a bit more expensive then other areas, far exceeds many of the lifestyle opportunities

Anybody planning on moving here from California? Don’t bring your Democrat bullshit with you. Don’t do it if you’re gonna be a Democrat and you are woke left liberal stay the fuck out of Fort Collins. Got enough idiots here already.

The transit system in my mind I've lived here 30 plus years is and has been catered too CSU college students only now with that being said it used to be before COVID, a little bit more robust. But since then, I know that they have struggled to find employees to operate the buses. In all these videos that people put out about Fort Collins, nobody mentions The train that drives through the center of Fort Collins, from North to South, that sometimes can cause delays, and you might as well take a nap. Especially on the North end of town at Leman and Riverside. Mulberry and Riverside in the North end of college. And I would not retire here. It's way too expensive, unless you're quite wealthy. There's much less expensive with still good activities and things to do other than Fort Collins.

how’s the political climate? do people respect each other?
@LivinginFortCollinsColoradoАй бұрын
I’d say 80-90% of the time. I think there’s 10-20% that are pretty extreme and will hate you if you’re on the other side. Most are open to having a conversation and are respectful
@judithsersen3767Ай бұрын
Really you think it's that high? I would say 10 to 5% are / can be rude. I have lived Ft.Collins for 62 years nice to hear from younger native.@@LivinginFortCollinsColorado

@@judithsersen3767 I like that better! And agree with it too. Fort Collins may not be the place where everyone knows everyone anymore, but it still has a foundation in kindness I believe!

The political environment is extremely woke left liberal and if that’s what you are, don’t come here, we got enough of that shit going on already
