I am pretty well experienced in rust, and alot of new people make some mistakes that were talked about in the video. Nice work dude, also in the 21th trick, new players should play on pve until they are experienced with building bases, taking monuments and other stuff and then they can practice pvp

new player questions: please explain the airlock inner door and why it should open outwards. (That means the inner door has its soft side facing out!) Is that OK? And Question 2: If those 2 doors are open, whats stopping the other player from just closing one at a time in order to enter the base anyhow?

So the inner door should open open outwards so that it can block anyone trying to get in if they accidentally kill you with both of your doors open. Doors themselves don't have a softside, however the door frames do. So as long as you keep the hard side of the door frame facing away from your core, you can place the door in any orientation, though I usually make them open towards eachother (outside door inwards and inside door outwards) so that no one can get through if they're both open. 2. Even if the both doors are open, random people shouldn't be able to open or close them if you have a key lock or code lock on them. Only people who have a key (which you should never make - you can open keylock doors without a key, but other people can't) can open the door. Same goes with code locked doors - only people with the code can open/close them Hope that helps! Feel free to ask more if you have more questions :)

@@Mamameesee No that explains it finally for me. Thank you I have been asking around and no definitive answer. It doesn't make sense that a random person couldn't close an already opened door, but I guess thats the game mechanic.

watched rust vids for about 6 years.. never got the game cause I've seen the toxicity.. finally pulled the trigger.. I now only have about 3 hours into it, but I should've done this sooner. Still don't know what I'm doing though😂

I met a chick on rust the first day playing, She build me a 2x1, gave me a sleeping bag and a bunch of stuff to get me started. She now swallows me while I play rust because I'm better at the game than her now, and she likes to watch All because I followed the tips in this video

Pretty sure the enemy only gets access to the one door the key was for if they killed you and took your key. (You said in the video they would get access to all your doors)
