In the UK - were an artists touring/publishing earnings are a matter of public record via Ltd and LLC companies, you can see that for an artist to be north of $100m they need at least 3 world wide hit albums and 3 huge tours (areana size minimum.) As well as headlining festivals and signing lucrative merch and corporate deals. I don't know much about 21 Savage or if he does those numbers.

Y’all complaining about his manager being in the room and I get that cause y’all are fans of 21 but it’s actually quite insightful to have his manager there as well. Because it may seem like he doesn’t do as much work but managing the day-to-day of an artist as big as 21 is no small feat. The fact that he’s the manager already says a lot. Because the job of the manager is often to negotiate many of the deals that 21 gets. Remember that 21 Savage is a brand and a business, and the manager is an important employee in that business.

No way he owns 100% of his publishing and masters, and only gives the label 10%. There’s gotta be something that they ain’t saying. Like a massive debt to the label, or fees paid to the label prior to splits, something. I just can’t imagine any label getting involved as early in an artist’s career as they’ve been with 21’s, and not be making the lions share.
