I'm an aries (March 27th) and married to the love of my life who is a taurus (May 2nd). She has tamed me down in a way that helped me extinguish a lot of fire and untamed aries drawbacks allowing to carry out a more peaceful approach in this life. I think it's true that Aries can be self-absorbed but also extremely caring, generous, and selfless. I think it all depends on how you treat an Aries... For me, I don't need others to return every favor I do for them, but I do need to feel like I am being appreciated in some way. When I feel like my efforts are wasted, I get very hurt and sometimes angry. I think Aries also can get very frustrated when people make them feel self-centered or conceited because it's not our intention to inconvenience others. I find Aries have very few Aries friends or Aries lovers. I've had one Aries boyfriend! I generally find that I don't like the negative Aries qualities that I see in them. I'm not a selfish Aries so I hate selfish Aries. I'm not a jealous Aries so I hate jealousy.
