Jenn Fenn nah it’s pretty easy and basic. a lot of the time in the video it was just following guildelines and basic shapes. you just have to draw something like 10 times to get the hang of it.

Frankly they do have a misguided view that you have to draw in Disney style to be considered a good drawing ... lots of great artists draw in much the so-called "kiddish" style that they miscontrue as "bad" ... Kiddish style do have its appeal when it comes to expressing a certain innocence, a certain rustic sensibility, a certain naturalness and rawness that the Disney style does not capture ...

The lines on the glove and the before-after pictures: The lines help you to see the proportions of the human body better. They also help to draw more symmetrically (for example lips). You have to practice shadowing of course but when you get the feel it's actually fun! For example: draw a circle then start to add shadows to make it look like a ball, then you can do more difficult shapes. - a fellow artist
