They needed half a million dollars for school security when the shooter got in because a door didn't lock. Rather than look at how many millions it would take to fix a problem, address the door locks, the "plan" that wasn't followed, the response from the cops that wasn't a response. It blows my mind that anyone would look at this event and think it happened because they didn't have enough money.

Please don't pretend to be a concerned citizen by watching old youtube videos of the Uvalde massacre. As citizens of this country it is our duty to ensure that gunmen don't kill innocent children. I don't sent my child to school for police to breach the classroom, opening fire, and blindly offloading rounds on who knows who. I send my child to school to learn. If children are the target that should tell you there's a serious problem lol. Get involved in your community to stop gunmen from killing kids, put your fat little finger away and start acting like a concerned citizen instead of pretending to be God on youtube. There’s a hole in the world tonight There’s a cloud of fear and sorrow There’s a hole in the world tonight Don’t let there be a hole in the world tomorrow They say that anger is just love disappointed They say that love is just a state of mind But all this fighting over who will be anointed Oh how can people be so blind? There’s a hole in the world tonight There’s a cloud of fear and sorrow There’s a hole in the world tonight Don’t let there be a hole in the world tomorrow Oh they tell me there’s a place over yonder Cool water against the burning sand But until we learn to love one another We will never reach the promised land There’s a hole in the world tonight There’s a cloud of fear and sorrow There’s a hole in the world tonight Don’t let there be a hole in the world tomorrow This is Hole in the World by the Eagles. Originally written in tribute to the victims of 9/11, I feel like this song can also help the families, not recover, no one could recover from what happened this day, but maybe it could help families come together to say goodbye to their loved ones (and I’m sorry that this day happened, I could never comfort the families of the victims).

if just ONE of the initial on-scene officers in the hallway had their own child in one of those two rooms I guarantee the entire situation would have been completely different and most likely, would have resulted in a better outcome. My heart physically pains imagining those babies desperately hoping police would come through the door and save them only to realize they were totally on their own…ugh, if just ONE officer would have stepped up instead of waiting around for someone else to do it or give instructions on how to proceed, they could have changed the amount of death that ultimately resulted in their lack of action. The entire thing is like a horrific “bystander effect” demonstration to the extreme, as if showing all the things NOT to do in a situation such as this. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact not a single officer saw anything wrong with their response in the moment enough to speak up and try taking control, or at the very least recognize proper protocol for an active shooter/hostage situation not being met and relaying that concern to other’s, I refuse to believe not a single official there noticed how badly the situation was being handled (or more like NOT being handled) when they are ALL trained the same way in how to respond to different situations by having all those specific protocols drilled into them. They all knew the situation was out of hand and being fumbled yet not a single one even attempted to be a leader and take control when the ones who were supposed to be were failing so miserably with children’s lives hanging in the balance. I’d have either ended up fired or dead if I was one of those officers in the hallway as there is no way I could sit there and do literally nothing even if told not to by a superior. There will never be enough justice for the community, the damage is too horrific and they will NEVER fully heal, but a good place to start would be holding those accountable who swore to put their own lives on the line for others when taking the job to protect and serve and then proceeded to do the opposite…justice and accountability won’t bring these innocent angels back but it’s necessary for the entire community to heal as much as possible given the nightmare their lives were turned into that day. It’s been years since the tragedy occurred but it will never be forgotten, I live in Canada and still think about the families and victims often, I’m sure it’s the same for many around the world. Forever remembering their names❤

Yet, has President Biden invited the Nashville cops to the White House? Have the Nashville cops been properly recognized as the heroes that they are? It is so sad, that we now have to use Winnie The Pooh to explain to children what to do in the case of some crazy person with a weapon meant for the military goes into their school and starts shooting. Because according to an interpretation of something that was put into place by the founding fathers at a time off flint lock weapons, if they would have wanted it to mean a weapon to kill as many people at once, they would have written the right to own a Canon. What was written at the time was meant for the weapons of the time. The Second Amendment, ratified in 1791, was proposed by James Madison to allow the creation of civilian forces that can counteract a tyrannical federal government. Wich is why it says a well regulated Militia. The 2nd amendment reads A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. However the weapon of choice for mass shooters is a weapon that was developed for the military during the Vietnam War to kill as many people in as short amount of time possible. A weapon that was and never should have been available to the public. This weapon is made to stalk one type of prey and that is humans. It has no other use It is a sad fact that the highest cause of death for children in America is guns. It doesn't have to be, this cause is something that can be regulated, and should be regulated. Instead states are starting to go in the opposite direction. Less regulations for guns and gun owners. Less regulations for people who want to buy this weapon. All in the name of the 2nd amendment. Meanwhile people are afraid to send their children to school. And get handed a book to read to their precious children about what to do in case of a shooting. Because guns are so unregulated and easy to buy. And all in the name of freedom! Freedom for whom, certainly not the nation's children. Not for all the people and children who were gunned down, shopping, going to worship, watching a parade, being in a park, going to a concert, attending university, doing their weekly grocery run. The lax gun laws in this country took their freedom, their life, and pursuit of happiness away. Because it was made so easy by the people in government be it State or Federal for a person with an agenda and personal gripe or a death wish to commit suicide by cops to get a weapon and start shooting as many people as possible at any given time in America. Where Freedom comes at a very high price.

I think that the police where not in the wrong they knew how much damage that AR 15s can do in a short amount of time so they need to not only make sure they where safe they had to figure out what way would be the best way to get the kids and teachers but i agree it sucks it took responders an hour but at the same time they didn't have the right equipment to save themselves or the kids they had to get swat or a stronger group of people this is a terrible tragedy and may those 21 people rest peacefully ❤ 🕊️🕊️🕊️

This was a good video up until the parents started talking gun control, thats when you lost me. Appeals to emotion and gun control propaganda is all this is.

That gunman would’ve been neutralised if only there was one good guy with a gun. No wait a second…. 🧐🤔. In defence of their second amendment and the right for civilians to own military grade assault rifles.

It was political from the start. The whole point is to hand troubled teens weapons to produce a scenario for advocating against law abiding citizens being able to defend themselves. worked like a charm.

No, orders were followed so that the body count was as high as possible to ensure the next gun ban passes.

You keep giving badges to criminals, cowards, or incompetents people that are mentally, morally, and/or physically UNFIT to wear a uniform. 99% of these cowards are still in uniform haven’t heard of one of these cowards offing themselves. Over 100 cowards that day all still alive and on the job. If they aren’t going to end themselves then can they All at least be banned from Public Service for life?
