Charlie should be a search and rescue team member. He and Miles could do a bit about Charlie being dispatched to find Mile's wife who was lost in Target for what felt like 10 days when it was probably only 10 minutes. Something like that would be hilarious. Miles even gives Charlie scratches when he finds his wife. 🤣 You guys are great! I live your podcast.

Corn cob grilling. Sometimes I take a portion of the marinade I am making for meat and brush that on my corn as it grills. It's pretty tasty!!

To add to the topic of married priests: When a priest would die, his wife would look for compensation, almost like a life insurance policy. The Church was giving away so much money that they had to do something, so they forbade their priests from getting married. Also, Charlie is actually right. Most of it came down to the Church not being able to pay out for deaths or the whole property thing. Not saying it was justified on any side in particular (I can see why it happened back in the 1100s), just that it happened because of those factors

I cook the corn one of 2 ways. Either straight husk and dress it after its cooked with mayo, Tajín, and cotija (a cheese). Or I husk the corn and butter the frick out of it and wrap it in foil since it won't absorb any of the butter. Pro trick, rub some mayo on the foil before wrapping the vinegar in it makes the corn cook more nicely I swear.

Myles not liking spotted cow is hilarious. It's a fine beer and New Glarus and the rest of WIs breweries make hundreds of better beers than Spotted Cow, but I'll defend it to the death for the simple fact that it drives non-Wisconsinites crazy.

The problem is that it's overrated. They've proclaimed themselves "Wisconsin's beer" ("drink native", etc.) which is pretty presumptuous, especially considering there's hundreds of better beer in this state.
