Jack recently got tickets for my dad and me to a game. When I shared our situation with him, he responded kindly. His generous contributions to charities and support for those facing challenges often go unnoticed. Top man ⚒️

Personally I couldn't bear to be in a room with any of them whether he's a nice lad or not. He could be the nicest lad in the world but the way his old man runs the club I've loved to close to 50 years, along with the cheap classless way he conducts himself it's going to make his kids targets unfortunately.

l understand the fans frustration at his father, but you have to give credit where it is due, Jack comes across as a very decent young man. l get why people may think being born to rich parents is a privilege, but can also be alot of pressure to live up too and a negative, l respect he is trying to make his own way in life with his business's, people will say the money is given, but you still have to make it work. He obviously loves the club and that is what matters to me. l have been very critical of the board in the past, l trade the stockmarket for a living and understand the difficult decisions that need to be made on the business side of things, but Jack clearly has a decent grasp of the issues and came across very well to me. There is bound to me resentment with our start to the season, but the team needs time, this was always going to be a difficult period.

I’ve never understood why the fans are so unhappy with the owners. West Ham fans seem to have short memories with what the previous owners did to our club. I reckon they’ve done a great job, you don’t see Arsenal and Spurs fans harping on about their old grounds like West Ham fans. Moving too a 60k ground is a no brainer for me. COYI

I’m not a football fan but know how passionate the Hammers are, so I took this interview at face value. I think he comes across well and is clearly passionate about carving his own future. It’s hard for kids born into this orbit where they are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. If they do nothing or just bounce around then they are accused of being lazy gobshites living off dad’s money. If they make a success of something then they are told it is all because of the connections and wealth the family have. It’s a no win situation. Similarly for when top players kids take to the pitch. He isn’t responsible for what his dad and the board have done over the years so let’s just all wish him luck with his various endeavours. He seemed genuinely energised by the success of the women’s game, and his other projects going on.

He's a credit to himself and his parents. Obviously, he's blessed to be born into wealth but, thereafter, he's worked hard, earned his position, embraced his dyslexia and, comes across as a genuine, bright-minded man. Great interview 👍🏻

Got a lot of respect for Jack, but I will never forgive his father, David Gold and Brady for selling Upton Park. The decision was financially motivated and nothing else, and we as fans endured years of constant lies defending the move. I used to go home and away every week but stopped going two years following the move (which is probably what they want, as I'm not a tourist that will spend hundreds in the club shop) and started following my local non league team instead as that bowl is the worst place ive ever been to see a game of football and is nothing like the West Ham I fell in love with as a kid.
