I was really awesome to sail through NYC with a boat, to see the lady, to experience the oldest pub, and to think Washington visited that pub many times and that the departments of Foreign Affairs, Finance and War had their offices at Fraunces Tavern from 1785-1789! That is so crazy!

Thank you!!!!! This is a cool way of showing our relatives and friends what USA looks like. We only see these things in the movies, so it was very surreal to us. Most likely a lot of folks are bored with these videos, but we don't have anything like those massive billboards in South Africa. But, having said all this, we much prefer the island life :-))))))

@@SailingSisu it was a concern, glad it worked out 😂, the NY scares me to tears, i absolutely hate crowds, (probably why i live in Western Australia (the most isolated major city on earth) I don’t even know if I would like to visit it, looks dirty and crowded, that’s not a cheap shot at anyone who does live there, just if you compare Perth to NY, well you simply can’t, Perth is like a hospital city it’s so clean, some actually say too clean and call it as a “ sterile” feel to it, I don’t totally disagree.. Fremantle is much nicer.

We also visited the oldest pub in NYC...beer was involved, but we completely forgot to film inside the awesome pub having a beer ;-) We will for sure visit Australia, but not so sure the Western Coast 🙂
