For me no need naman talaga na gawin nila yung original version. Di kasi kailangan e-pressure ang sarili lalo na kung isa ka talagang artist like Rico Blanco. Rico is a producer/song writer/composer/Plays different instruments/Underrated Artist na napaka Genius gumawa ng kanta so ganun ka unique si Rico sa lahat ng membro ng Rivermaya kaya as an artist mag iiba talaga ng version si Rico depends on how the band will approach it to the live audience. Also kung katulad ka ni Rico Blanco mag isip syempre di mo talaga gagayahin ang ginawa ni perf sa song na 214 kasi magmumukhang tanga si Rico trying to imitate Perf 🤣 diba parang nakakabobo yung ganun, So ginagawa ni Rico yung part nya on guitars with the help of all the band members they reinvented everything to create new & unique sound for the live versions of all the songs they played that night and it was a successful and nostalgic to witness how they evolve as an Artists.

my thoughts exactly, rico is unique, plus, he’s the one who composed and wrote most of the songs, so he knows how to play and deliver it. he can rearrange and play with the song however he wants. it just shows how mych of a talented and genius of a person he is. He is RICO BLANCO for crying out loud. so dont try to compare his version to perf’s. both of the versions are good, dont get me wrong. but rico’s version has a sense of maturity and originality to it. LOVE RIVERMAYA!

yes, i agree. simula nung, umalis si bamboo, nagdoble kayod si Rico para mamaintain or maiangat pa ang rivermaya at nagawa nga niya. pero nung umalis na si Rico, parang nagiba na ang maya. imbes na maging iconic band, naging show band na lang sila sa mga gigs nila. walng charisma yung sumunod na vocalist nila. yung mga kanta din nila na bago, di rin maganda.. iba taaga pag si Rico yung gumawa ng kanta nila.. yunv mike elgar, parang pang karaoke/ inuman, tambayan singalong lang yung boses niya.. iba talaga nung andyan pa si bamboo at rico sa maya!
