Most of the time, but not always. Scots are notorious for having a very thick accent and being hard to understand, even for native speakers

I can mostly tell what he’s saying, but it’s hard sometimes. He has an incredibly thick Scottish accent, which is famously one of the hardest accents to understand among non-Scottish English speakers

I mainly speak English and it took me a while to get used to the different accents of Spanish. It just takes a while. So while we’re opposite languages our experience is the same. Just keep practicing listening mate
