schizoid band is/was arguably in the same vein as current actual king crimson, a band comprising of one or more old-er former members dedicated to playing from a specific era of king crimson history, i.e Schizoid Band playing basically only Court or Wake of Poseidon songs, with current King Crimson playing (mostly) lizard/islands/wake stuff
