Even though we lost in OT, it felt like a mini win. The win is that WE NEVER GAVE UP. 5 out of 6 possible points the last 3 games is solid.

Our team is different this year. We’re playing with more passion and you can see the excitement for the players and from the fans again. And yeah, if we’re gonna lose games, I’d rather lose them like this instead of giving up 5-7 goals a game like last year.

Wings with at least a point in all three games. Watch us squeak into playoffs by one point this season. Either way, even if we hadn't tied it, that defensive backcheck determination by Larkin totally solidifies his Captaincy.

5 out of the first possible 6 points is pretty good. I'm happy just seeing the fight and never give up energy in this game. Larkin getting major respect for setting the tone for the season with that play at the end.

Well..very happy with getting a point. Much better than last year.seemed a bit off, timing wise, and seemed to be standing around a bit in their own zone..but. much better effort. Wasn't impressed with goaltender..but, it'll get better!! LGRW!!

A point is nice considering they were down late, but I feel like they have to find a way to win this game. Tampa, Toronto, Washington aren't going to be struggling all year. You've gotta get the points while you can and Wings have some easier opponents to start the year.
