Thanks for these videos! I’m looking for a stiff boot for backcountry and steeps. I’ve been riding the Felix for years and before that the Q. But I have narrow ankles and the ankle never feels gripped enough. Also my big toes are poking the front of the boot despite a little heel lifting insole and j bars even after heat molding. What boot would you recommend that will really wrap the ankle and be a stiff, warm, aggressive boot?

Quick question. How are the Vans Verse Range Edition Blake Paul Snowboard Boots 2024 compared to the 2020 model?

Just bought the DC phase. Love them. Also when is the Capita and Lib tech ladder coming. Or atleast can you review skate banana 🍌
@thehouse
@thehouse Жыл бұрын
Not sure if we will get to a Capita and Lib ladder this year. But Sk8 Banana is a rad board. All mountain board that is more for a park focused rider. Basically if you want 1 board that can ride the whole mountain but you spend 50% or more of you time riding park. Let us know if you get any questions on any of the Capita decks!

@@thehouse what would you rate the board ?/10.
@thehouse
@thehouse Жыл бұрын
@@arcane1385 I mean 10/10, but to be honest all of the boards by the major companies are 10/10. It's just a matter of getting a board that fit you and your riding needs. I've been on MANY boards from pretty much ALL the companies and they are all good in their own way. Some people might not like a board and say its a 5/10 but that just because it didn't fit heir riding style. Not a ton of help I know but thats just the way snow gear goes 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂

Right off the head, which boot would you suggest for riding park and a lot piste but with a lot of freestyle, flat tricks etc.?
@thehouse
@thehouse Жыл бұрын
Traditionally a softer boot for that style of riding but it is really up to you. Check out this video ,especially around the 8:33 mark for boot flexes -> kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWXNmpJpr9GYqa8 SNOWBOARD BOOTS: www.the-house.com/snbo

@@thehouse Hey man! I wanted to ask for your advice. I know boots are very subjective but I tested some boots and a few ones fitted very nice out of the box. Which boots would you suggest for piste freestyle and park if you have to decide between the Vans Hi-Standard OG / Pro, Adidas Samba, 32 Lashed or Burton Photon?
@thehouse
@thehouse Жыл бұрын
@@drsteee Those are all solid boots, personally I'd go Lashed or High Standard. Can't get a better, customizable fit than with a standard lace boot. BOOTS-> www.the-house.com/snbo

I just received my Ride Jackson boots with single boa . Is the upper tongue of the boot shell suppose to flex and losing up a bit ? I tried them on before going snowboarding and strap myself in bindings and the upper tongue will lose up when I move to toe edge, I would have to keep tightening and then my whole foot will be to tight
@thehouse
@thehouse Жыл бұрын
When you crank it down it should stay snug.
@tigrepaez3183
@tigrepaez3183 Жыл бұрын
The problems is when i crank it down my foot is snug but my upper boot is not snug. Meaning I have to much play between my leg on the upper boot shell. The linner fits snug but the outside of the boot will be a little to loose causing to much play when go on my toe edge
@tigrepaez3183

It’s hard to explain , but what I’m trying to say is when I crank it down once my foot feels good and snug , we’ll my upper boot “tongue “ the upper lacing is a little loose.
@thehouse
@thehouse Жыл бұрын
@@tigrepaez3183 Got it, yeah thats one of the big down falls of having a single BOA boot. Even double BOA's lack adjustment of the 3 main lacing zones of a boot. That's the main reason I only run standard lace. Still the best way to lace up a boot 🤷‍♂

which boot would have the smallest footprint. Im size 14 what would you recommend? Thanks
@thehouse
@thehouse Жыл бұрын
Honestly most boots these days all have super small footprints. Just about any of the current 14s are going to be very similar size wise. -> www.the-house.com/snbo?routes={%22fs%22:[{%22f%22:%22Size%22,%22vs%22:[%2214%22]}]}

Can you do a review of the Chamonix Lagnon 23. Beginner here who just ordered it cause of a sick sale. Was advertised as a beginner to intermediate so wanted thoughts on this diverge camber
@thehouse
@thehouse Жыл бұрын
The Lognan is a sick board, I was stoked when they added the diverge camber this year. Definitely kicked that board up a notch and made it super versatile. I ride the Cornu myself which has the same bend.
@Blehkid
@Blehkid Жыл бұрын
@@thehouse how forgiving would you say it is? I got it at size 148 and was hoping it was not Uber stiff but medium or softer to help me when I need to turn. Would you say it’s a beginner board?
@thehouse
@thehouse Жыл бұрын
@@Blehkid It's still a good forgiving ride for a beginner becasue of the rocker dominant bend but the little extra camber in the nose and tail allows it to have a little more power and pop as you get better and start needing that little extra.
