I break the winch cable at least once a year on my 350 4x4 Arctic Cat, it’s because of the angle of the cable coming off the drum to the plow. I keep cable clamps on hand to fix it

steel winch cables are just outdated in my opinion, looking forward to next year to compare the new synthetic cable

I heard that the 800 is worse to plow with because it is "quicker" in acceleration. The second year I plowed with my 520 my winch cable also broke, but with syntetic rope it have been no problem (knock on wood).

really eh. i'd love to compare the 2.. one day that is. I love my 600, but I think the 800 would be abit more ideal for me, I'm still carrying christmas supper with me and it's not going anywhere soon lol

Looks about the same for snow as here in WNY - I’m back and forth on the 600t or 800.

Did they fix the shifting issues yet ? my 600 won't shift after it warms up even if you shut it off. Dealer said that's the way it is and there is no fix for it, that the way they were built I'm told. Been that way since I bought it and I won't go back to the dealer because they are a-holes, takes your money then he's done with you. Dealer told me I should of bought a Can-Am or other brand that CFMOTO are cheap junk for first time riders. WTF ? Have you ever been climbing a 45 degree hill and need to use reverse, well you can forget it with this model. Had to turn my ATV around myself taking about 20 min just to get back down hill. 1st time out I had quite a few screws fall out or come loose while breaking it in. But all in all it's a nice ATV, I have upgraded it with full skid plates, front and back bumpers and racks and a more desert proof tires, I just wish I didn't have to fight the shifting issues it has. I have a channel on youtube and am going to start filming the shifting problems and issues I have encountered with the 600 so you can see what I'm fighting. I have video of my rides and what type of terrain I run in and deleted the bad stuff with the 600 but will start including it now. Maybe it does make a good snow plow and should be sold as that !

Mine tends to jam up abit when it's also warm, or pushing into a bank.. usually when that happens, I'll give it a couple throttle pumps, apply foot brake quickly to break any power:gear lockup, shifts no problem afterwards. Cheers

Man that machine has lots of engine noise. I plow in low range with my 500 and it doesn't rev that high or sound anywhere near that loud. I'm sure the 600 is just as reliable, but that is so much noise!

yeah forsure, I blame half the noise on my rookie editing.. Every video posted, has been edited on a Samsung S20 cell phone.. Finally got proper editing software. Stay tuned, new videos coming :)
