I so appreciate that you mention when you've heard that people can't smell a perfume. As someone who is anosmic to ambroxan and possibly to iso e super, I am constantly disappointed by so many apparently beautiful smells I was hyped to try. Speaking of, This Is Her (a blind buy for me) is one of those I feel like I can only smell the "edges" of because of aromachemicals. I'd be happy to send it to you if you'd like. It's been in my "find a new home for" pile for seven or eight months, but I'm apparently too lazy to set up an online resale account.

Oh my goodness, YES!!! Send me an email!! And I love the way you describe it as "smelling the edges of something"...I get that with a lot of fruity fragrances, specifically 100 Silent Ways and Frassai...

You MUST try Unique'e Crush on Me - I cannot stand patchouli in any shape or form, but Crush on Me is very Fall/Winter forward with the most addictive patchouli note that I've ever had in my life. I really love your fall picks - we have very similar tastes in scents and olfactive context: crackling fire, cozy blanket, book and goblet of mountain fruit ;) my favs from your list are Liis Bo, Winter Nights and Amber Aoud...Candy Aoud is another glorious one from Roja OMG. And thank you so much for turning me onto SL Fille en aiguilles! It kinda reminds me of Litergie des Heures. I'm looking forward to wear Amber Precieux, Vanagloria and Encens Suave this Winter!

I think we might be nose twins!!! I *just* got my hands on a dabber vial of Crush On Me and it feels really overwhelming, but I also need to transfer it to a spray vial and give it a proper wear test! And maybe wait until it's colder out ;). Excited to check out some of your other recommendations - Vanagloria and Encens Sauve have been on my MUST TRY list for far too long!!

Hi Kelly! I also love Lethe, Ginger Ciao and 1969 by Histories de Parfums!! ♥️ I'm looking forward to wearing a 10 ml of Onyx by Aaron Terrence Hughes! It's a delicious rich rose, oud & think leather. There's a sweet warmth that almost reminds me of chocolate-y patchouli carmel, but kinda smoky!
