I may be a university student but instead of having an empty bank account like my friends it's steadily rising as I carefully save and build my investment portfolio. The way I see it this money I save now will help kickstart my future and get me into a good position sooner, so I'm ok with eating my frozen oven pizza for a few years if it means I'll have a better standing some years down the road from which to indulge myself :)

Well... technically you're right! In a life or death starvation situation nobody gives a damn how you eat, you just eat. But in general day to day meals there is a certain etiquette. For example: When eating a fancy meal you use the cutlery from the outside in. In Africa you MUST eat with your right hand and not your left as the left is considered dirty. A tad challenging for me, being a leftee growing up there! One does not usually eat pizza with a knife and fork. In the orient as a general rule you must always leave some food over otherwise it is taken as an insult to the host, saying they could not serve up enough food to placate you! I'm not disagreeing, you're correct when it all boils down to it, but thought this may be of interest :) Though we could consider the health impacts of eating raw meats etc!
