Also the year Kelce shown he was better than Kittle in the first place. Kittle hasn't even came close to matching Kelce in total production, blocking, catching, etc since. Kittle ain't even a top 3 TE the last 2 yrs in the NFL

@@Chris-2 Kelce is better at route running and being a redzone threat but besides that Kittle is so much better at everything else, once Kittle gets the ball he's like a runningback, most yards after catch, broken tackles, and yards after contact out of any TE since 2018. If Kittle was healthy his stats would be extremely similar to Kelce despite Kelce being a better route runner. Kelce's run blocking isn't much better than Kittle's and Kittle is the best pass blocking TE in the league, so the conversation is a lot closer than you think lol

@@Chris-2 actually now that I think about it too, if you actually watch the film Kittle is a way better run blocker than Kelce. Just because PFF says that Kelce has a higher grade Kittle is more effective just due to the fact that Kittle is run blocking far more often than Kelce

Before Kittle became a household name, I saw him at the SAP Center parking lot after a San Jose Sharks playoff game. He walked past my car, he was tall as hell, I just saw him wearing a Sharks jersey with "Kittle 85" on the back and i was starstruck, i yelled "Kittle" from the car and he turned and said "WHATSUP!" and i was so shocked it was him i didnt know what to do. I didnt get a pic or anything but I was so hyped i started calling my friends. Like I said, this was before he was a household name, it was in the offseason right after Nick Bosa got drafted. I'll never forgive myself for not hopping out the car and running up to him. He is such a nice guy, I went to training camp this offseason and he signed my friend's nephew's hat and jersey, and even took a selfie with him. Kittle is a man of the people. So glad he is on my team. Can you believe he was a FIFTH ROUND PICK!?! Stone Cold Kittle, the People's Tight End.

I’ll never forget that.

The Niners didnt make the playoffs that year and they had CJ Beathard and Nick Mullens at QB most of that season. I think the following year when Niners cmade the Superbowl was when he became a household name, or superstar, etc. Because i don’t think he can walk down a parking lot like that without being swarmed by a mob nowadays.

I’m a Seahawks fan and it’s a pleasure watching George Kittle play. The dude is an absolute dawg and I do believe all around is the best TE in the game. He’s really just a slightly smaller version of Gronk. GK’s ability to block is unreal, he has hands comparable to upper echelon receivers and the dude runs like a gazelle. On top of all that appears to be a great teammate that his piers enjoy playing with. Mad respect for Kittle’s game
