Well Said Cooper about putting the ego back in the box, this is a usual down flaw of the Blues not saving the ego until the series is won and they lose steam and end up coming up short in the decider.
@KanineMinor944 ай бұрын
Agreed. NSW know full well the challenge that awaits them at Suncorp. One man who will be key in getting their mindset right will be Gilbert Enoka - 20 years as the All Blacks mental skills coach in their golden era - that Coach Madge has bought into camp. Google him

It’s funny though, when QLD does it, the media calls it passion. When NSW does, it’s being cocky. I agree though, it’s not a great look and will only fire up the banana benders

Absolutely correct! I find that’s the difference. Egos. Hopefully the Blues will finally play selfless brand of footy. Where they support and rely on their own teamates for victory. And not think one hero play wins the contest.

Yep they had history winning margin beckoning. That would have demoralised them even more. But being bunch of pricks and losing the second half 18-4 is silly. They need to play a full 80!!!

It was a game of a lifetime for him and his team, but if Cleary happens to be fit to play next year, I don't think we'll see Moses wearing the 7. Great talk as always 👍🏽 Don’t be lulled into false sense of security Nsw 😉 This game, ref was heavily favouring Nsw. Qld play the ball was slowed down a lot, though fair-play to nsw for reading the ref being more lenient. Have the feeling Nrl wanted the decider. Don’t think refs will be as one sided game 3. Beware of the ambush. Billy now knows nsw hand, and will know how refs will be officiating. I think game 3 will surprise nsw .

That’s one of the most balanced comments I’ve seen. I’m a blues supporter and agree - how do you reproduce such a good half and QLD will use that experience to fire themselves in Suncorp to be swinging in the first 40. Still an up hill battle for us and we’ll need to play somewhere close to how we did in that half to win a decider in QLD.

A one sided 12 and 13 game and a thrashing. Gee that was worth disrupting the NRL for six weeks. Put the state of the origin cult on at the end of the year so that true NRL fans don't get their competition ruined for six weeks. They wont because cults don't allow compromise.
