Aye bro, just curious and had a few questions. First do you have your barber's license? Second, what are the permits and regulations to have a barbershop in your house? I thought about buying a house and converting a portion of it into a barber shop, I want a private 1 on 1 custom experience for the clients and it would save a lot of money.

I think the process is different for everyone depending your location and where in your house you are planning on setting up. First you obviously need a barber license if your state requires one. I live in a rural area in Oregon and I had to apply for a home occupation permit from my city. They require me to do by Appointment Only and no more than 10 clients a day I believe. Also I have to provide a designated client Parking. After that I had to check what the requirements from the health licensing office were to operate from home. I had to make some plumbing additions in the room I operate in (for shampoo bowel) and also electrical outlets (which I had to get the permits from the county to do the work) after everything was in compliance with the health license office I applied for a facility permit. That was it but it was a long process for me due to other issues I had along the way. I hope that kinda helps.
