Black series is definitely due a new Jango body. I picked up both releases of the black series hoping that there were more updates to the 2nd but in all honesty the paint was marginally better and only on the figure. His guns had better paint on the first release. Anyway, the new mandalorians show off how much a new Jango could be so im hoping we see a new Jango fett in the next year or so

Im pretty sure that jango has heavy reuse from several mandos, the helmet comes fron the fleet commander which is why he lacks the arrows above his visor and is taller than his son

I made a custom TVC jango using the Death Watch Mandalorian from tcw. And whadda know? A few months later they dropped an official Jango! The height difference between Jango and his clones is likely because they reused a good chunk from that Deathwatch mandalorian.

Great review! The height difference is due to Hasbro using the clone wars mandalorians as the template for jango (longer barbell in the torso and longer thigh sculpts). It looks great but I would have preferred something more proportional to the boba fetts we’ve gotten recently, something more screen accurate.

I made a custom jango fett in 2022 using the mandalorian commando body. I was expecting a new jango figure for the 20th anniversary of attack of the clones, but that never happened. I'm glad we now have a definitive version of Jango, Dooku, and the phase 1 clone tho

I've been wanting a Jango for my limited Star Wars figures for a few years. Always liked his outfit and character more than his son Booby. Never could justify the prices for the Jangos available, though, so while this one is still a bit up there, I think it's worth it for how few Star Wars figures I really buy these days. Though oddly, I had to look around for this figure since it's not on Amazon(my mom has Prime shipping, so I like to mooch off of that occasionally), and the BBTS listing is a dollar more than Gamestop and Hasbro Pulse. Is there any particular reason for that?

Why the hell did they choose to not make the helmet a 'real' helmet; even the old Kenner figures did that with later releases. It's why in the movies the helmets looked big.
