I think the only units I'm not sold on looks wise are the siege. It's the same way that the teuton architecture looks so fake in aoe2, looks like they're made out of rubber.

It's fine; I mean, translating blocky to HD is something that would something that would be hit or miss. Also rose tinted glasses do make them look better back then as a kid. Also, you didn't normally zoom the models in while playing.

@@jazzratoon It's mainly because the new design looks more anemic. If he had a more beefy frame and potentially some armor, he would probably look as intimidating as his classic counterpart.

No and yes, the aquatic units and general landscape is great, but that titan is rouughhhh. The buildings from what i glanced were a bit too polished, they went too easy on the height maps if there's even any at all.

Son of Osiris looks worse. I know it's supposed to be a falcon so they made the beak smaller, but the animation is way less impressive as well.
