@jenniferboone The toughest 200 to get is the first one, I should know when I bowled it took me 4 years before I cracked the 200 barrier after that I went over 200 100+ times & I wouldn’t be surprised if you did the same. Well done on cracking the 200 barrier this is the first of many 200s onwards & upwards for you, best wishes from me across the pond in the UK.

I would like to know what series the “silent assassin” got, the man who bowled an 859 series (OUCH !!!) against you Forrest because he looked like at times he had that ball on rails, he’s a helluva bowler. To 220 average bowler leave the style points to the gymnasts if it works leave it alone. But I will admit I’m not sure if it’ll work in a tournament setting where you’re bowling for a long time. Watching your videos sure makes me miss going league or tournament bowling so much, I had to quit bowling due to injury in 2006, I only bowled for 9 years but I had so many wonderful memories.

The pins do not care what you look like at the foul line. Focus on ball motion instead of where your shoulder is.

Wouldn’t starting at the bottom of the swing cause him to force the ball instead of letting gravity take over on the back swing
@DS-qz2gu
@DS-qz2gu 4 ай бұрын
I mean yeah, but even when he does push away, he forces the ball back anyways instead of letting gravity do the work which gives him an unnecessarily large backswing. So not pushing off just naturally reduces his backswing because gravity isn’t doing any work. I think it’s better than having his excessive backswing that made him have to turn 90° at the line, but it’s not sustainable since he really just needs to not muscle the ball on his backswing at all.
@Desire2punish

Not trying to be rude, but there’s no way that not pushing off and muscling the ball back like that is sustainable. Gotta be horrible on his shoulder, right? Great that it’s working better than his old swing but I feel like it’s reinforcing bad habits. He should learn how to let gravity do the work and not muscle the ball at all in his backswing.
@EyanZ1997
@EyanZ1997 4 ай бұрын
I agree with not pushing off being unsustainable, but he’s also mentioned before that when he tried to avoid the super high backswing (that gives him control issues), he feels he has to muscle it to keep it lower which is its own issue. Feel like the whirlwind swing he tried on his own channel should’ve been the one he stuck to
