I'm becoming a regular with your podcast because these podcasts are such a nice way to learn something important. And it's just not about individual words or phrases but about how to do something right in real life. Many, many students struggle with finding the right words to start their stories. And even in real life, when we wish to share an anecdote with others, it's generally a fix how to start it with average story-tellers like me. So, thank you for helping me here. Keep up the good work, girls! You're doing a great job as teachers!

I notice that native speakers use present tense rather than past tense when telling a story. They also seem to use ‘this’ instead of ‘the’ when they’re mentioning specific events. It would be great if you could address these too!❤

hi guys what's shaking? In my humble opinion once upon the time is used in a book but not on a daily basis. If we want to become a good story teller we need to read a plethora of books. that's why i've decided to take a crack at changing the way i'm improving my english. what I mean is I try to read more. I bought this all collection of books by Roald Dalh and I really enjoy reading a few pages at night before I go to bed. the main perk is when you read you kill to birds with one stone. you ramp up your vocabulary and you learn the right way to express yourself.
