I agree cards are a waste of money 'cause they just get shoved in a drawer, but my girlfriend's family is old-fashioned and still gives cards so I feel bad when I don't have one plus she always gets me cards too lol often I just forget. great haul, I really need to do Christmas shopping before I leave for holiday in a month

I love Xmas, just a family time for most isn't it, and anyone not celebrating can have extra time off to enjoy their family too. its the best when you have kids, the excitement from them makes it something else x

I bought biscuits for Xmas but my husband got snacky and he ate them over three nights did not say anything but then l saw the box asked him he hugged me said sorry l just love biscuits

Phew that is quite a haul I love that you’ve got started early, thankfully I don’t have to do “Christmas” this year I have escaped having to cook as we’ve been invited to our sons over the festive season so I will obviously take a few bits but I won’t have to slave in the kitchen it’ll make a nice change I’m really looking forward to it … I have to dispute mayflower curry being the best though Hailey it’s definitely not for me I find it tastes too synthetic and powdery I can seriously recommend Goldfish Chinese Curry Paste though that really is pukka 👌🏻 I get it on Amazon … Xx Ps Steve loved the sausage casserole and said to thank you for the tip on airfrying the sausages first as no one likes a floppy sausage 😂😂

I love ❤️ my milk tray but I don’t eat all at once! My hubby loves his celebrations or quality street..I love ❤️ chocolate 🍫 but I’m more of a biscuit 🍪 person custard creams and Bourbon biscuits and fig rolls it’s making me feel hungry thinking about all the nice things xx

I also think Christmas cards are a waste of money also crackers but we always buy them. I could no more wear fleecy pyjamas than eat chocolate cake...much too hot for me! You bought some great stuff for your girls. If you have any ideas for a 2 year olds Christmas Eve box (boy) I'd much appreciate it. xx

@@mummycookshomemade He loves putty and play doh. He's just started playing with cars and hardly eats any chocolate (that's Mummy). He loves books and has loads (we've also bought him a few for his Birthday, 2nd December). Any more ideas would be much appreciated, thank you xx

I think like you Christmas 🎅 cards are a waste of money…last year it cost me £15 in Christmas cards from the card factory and they were only individual cards mam&dad sister sons ECT but if I don’t get them a card they call me tight! I love ❤️ your shopping 🛒 haul you gave me good ideas thank you 🙏

Christmas 🎅 is expensive as it is! My kids are grown up now and left home but when they were little it would cost me a bomb like every household…but my kids appreciated everything I bought them and appreciated everything their grandparents bought them! I loved seeing their little faces light up when they opened their presents 🎁 every Christmas 🎅 was always lovely I served our family dinner at 2pm and we chilled out watching family movies because I think family time is great 👍!!!!
