My goodness! What an audacious escort to the plane. I’ve never heard of a HM walking out casually and assessing people. I do recall the incident where 3 HM walked by the women crouched down but they were very aggressive. To take away Todd’s passion of beach-combing is heartbreaking. Thank you Todd and Alicia for sharing your encounter. It must have been difficult for you to come forward but you’re in a safe place. Thank you Fred for you relaying these encounters and alerting your fellow Alaskans to the serious dangers that are lurking in your beautiful yet unforgiving state. Sending love and light to you and yours and to Todd and Alicia. 🙌🏼🤍💫🕊️✨🙏

Can any of you imagine the absolutley incredible strength required to twist the tree and bend it down between the trees beside it in the opening scene of this video..? I've seen tree structures and tree branch twists here in Iowa (yes theyre here too and Ive had experiences going back to the mid 70's), but never a twist of a trunk that large...

It's apparent that they no longer feel the need to avoid encounters with us, given that we've occupied almost all of the habitable land they once had. It's time to acknowledge that they need their own space where we are not allowed to enter.

Good one, Fred. If I saw a 12 foot Chewbacca looking thing with loooong arms, I'd assume it could throw a rock 200 mph with deadly accuracy. Hairy man needs no artificial firearm. That would deter me from flying over them to get a look. I'd be worried about getting a rock right up my keester.

I have seen a couple of kush da ka on prince of Wales island. The one that i could clearly see was standing in the grass next to inlet creek on klawock lake. We were doing a sockeye prediction study for the tribe, and the kush da ka was checking our fish traps . We didn't check those traps that day. The next day i brought my 45/70 and my 10mm pistol. I had my coworker take my picture were the kush da ka was standing. The grass was a foot taller than me. I'm 5'8" . In the photo the kush da ka s waist was even with the grass. What impressed me was that the kush da ka was tall and graceful. The way it moved wasn't rushed but it covered ground quickly. Tlinget legend says that they are shape-shifters. But back in 2001 a friend and I saw one clibe a tree in order to get away from us. Back then we new it big , but we didn't have anything to compare it to except 100 foot tall trees. So when my coworker and i went to to the last place we had seen it , i looked up . There were several broken branches in the tree were it disappeared. I was surprised by how fast it could climb , for being so big. If you see a kush da ka, go to were you last seen itand look up.

Thank you for sharing Todd and Alisha’s encounter with the HM, Fred. It’s too bad that Todd no longer feels safe to pursue his beachcombing hobby, but it’s understandable. HM could definitely eff up a free lunch. It did throw that rock, so the potential for violence was there, don’t think it was the Harry and The Hendersons type at all.

Sasquatch confuse me on how they behave at times , The one that showed himself seems to me wanted them to realize what was messing with them , 12 ft tall made him realize that his gun was not big enough , 30 06 might do it , But they never would have made it to the plane , I'm 6ft and I have a 3ft step , Almost a 5ft running stride , So that sasquatch would double the step/stride NO doubt it could run 50 yards in 2 or 3 seconds
