Fight Lite is coming out with the Herring lever action. It will use AR uppers and magazines. It will allow you to change calibers by swapping the upper and bolt. Due to be released this year.

Hey Dustin! Awsome video - I'm really interested in the Pioneer Arms 22LR Ak and was wondering if you could review it for me? There are a few videos on youtube of it but none to your standard. It would be nice to see what kind of accuracy it falls under as well as how teardown works. I'm undertheunderstanding that it's a proper 7.62 AK with a 22LR Barrel and bolt carry. Being from the UK it's quite hard to try or find out about something before you get it imported or buy it. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Nice gun, it just doesn’t fill a need in my collection. No hammer, box magazine, tang safety, bolt that locks up. All my center fire bolt actions have those features and shoot MOA groups. I own lever guns and love them, but consider them for short range hunting or use in states where they only allow straight wall cartridges. I guess I could see it if you wanted a quick follow up shot.

I have both. I've owned 2 BLR's for nearly 30 years. This action is smother, and the rifle is more accurate. Plus, the BLR can only carry 4 rounds. Not to mention, the Supreme is threaded and carries up to 100 rounds. Better in every way.

Fairly straightforward evolution of the Browning BLR. I love the threaded barrels for suppressors, and I love the idea of a tang safety depending entirely upon how it works inside. Too bad the metal work and finish isn't up to Browning levels. To wit-- They don't even try to match the receiver and barrel. The joint between the barrel and barrel extension is super-flagrant. If they'd polish up the receiver even just to match the barrel, and make an effort to smooth the barrel-to-extension joint, it'd be terrific! That said, I love pistol-grips on lever guns, I love the escaping-gas protection in case of a ruptured case, and I loved the 5-shot precision. Those latter two points are superior to the Browning BLR.

It's hard to believe the 300 So What is still being sold. In regards to this Bougie Lever Action rifle its certainly a hard pass for me. Appears the Gun Mfgs are now making rifles just as the Ammo Industry comes up with new / improved cartridges that are supposedly an anseer to a problem that never existed.... Incredible

They have to offer it with a flush magazine. It's one thing to tote a rifle around over your shoulder with a sling, but it's a complete pain to carry a rifle around while a large box magazine is in the way of your hand while you're stalking through the deer woods. I speak from experience because I own a firearm with that problem.

I'll just keep my 45 yr old Marlin Golden 39A. 3x9x40 gives it dime sized groups at 50 yds and quarter size at 100 yds to this day. Oh and I bought it new at an old dollar store for $178 in 1979.

That suppressor ruins the look of that fine rifle. As for lever action rifles in general, their time has passed due to high cost of manufacturing which increases the price and the numerous models of cheap bolt and single shot rifles which are chambered in rounds with flatter trajectory.

Understand that this rifle fills a void for AR shooters who crave a lever. No hammer, big box mag, threaded muzzle, blasting lots of ammo at steel, etc, right? It may not be a good fit for us traditionalists, but I’m damn glad just to have a variety of rifles available in the marketplace. Yea, we may talk shit about it, but in the end that guy is one of us-a 2nd Amendment shooter, regardless of what he carries.
