22w T9 Preheat Circline Fluorescent Adapter Hack

While using this particular Lights of America preheat 22w T9 circline fluorescent adapter for experiments and dealing with stuck starter problems on a few other 22w T9 preheat circline fluorescent adapters, I decided to add these G10Q lampholders with integrated starter sockets to those adapters so that I can have an easily replaceable starter once the starter gets stuck and that I have more starter choice besides having just glowbottles only. With these G10Q lampholders, I now have the choice to use either regular glowbottle starters, electronic pulse starters, and even the rare air thermal starters so that I can see the adapter starting circline fluorescent lamps in many different ways. The starters used in this video are a European Philips S2 glowbottle starter with a neon filling, which produces a bright red glow and a Sylvania M2 air thermal fluorescent starter.

This fluorescent starter is very slow. But Philips one is very good 😇😇.

The metal case Sylvania M2 starter is an air thermal starter, which means that it uses a thermal relay to start lamps instead of a normal glowbottle.

@@joymondal9810 Those starters never give blink happy startups at all. An advantage about those starters is that they can prolong lamp life by minimizing sputter on the cathodes.
