Bardzo dziękuję za doskonałe wyjaśnienia i demonstrację. Ćwiczyłem przez lata nie rozumiejąc tak naprawdę zastosowania tej formy. To jest naprawdę pomocne.

A very good looking, athletic form and thank you for the interesting explanations! For beginners- due to technical precision and correctness, I would recommend to start with a lot of repetitions of learning the movements in higher postures, very slowly and detailed. Once the movements and coordination, weight distribution etc... are correct, step by step flow can be developed, as well lower and wider stances. It is also helpful to first collect informations about chenstyle specific requirements regarding structure and frame (knees, bows, direction of head/view, arm rotation and structural range of arm movement, range of angles when turning/shifting, coordination, weight shift). Once the spiral exercises( silk reeling, chan si gong) are fully understood, they also can be used as a helpful key for all form movements. For some extra support for newcomers to this form I have posted a tutorial from Zheng Donxia. She is a 7 Duan holder in chenstyle, international judge (CWA) and a close indoor student of GM Chen Zhenglei, who is a CWA 9 duan holder and the founder of this form. Donxia guarantees high technical correctness/precision and skill, a master of the highest grade in Chen Zhenglei taiji. In her video (series), she demonstrates the form and it`s movements very slowly and clearly, so almost every aspect can be considered and integrated. Especially at 7:19, 8:04, 8:12, 8:34-40, 8:44/45, 8:51, 9:23-31, 9:35-38, 10:05 there might be some interesting details to consider. May this tutorial be an additional support for learners of this form to develop perfection and help to spread and develop proper chenstyle all over the world! All the best! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJbImHqCqNSbis0&start_radio=1

I do not claim to be a great fighter, never did say anything about superiority of Taijiquan or any style, and this video is purely educational. Its main goal is to give athletes some insight that might be useful in context of taolu (routine) competition. I believe we would rather have a drink together with Xu than a fight. 🙂
