I love my Carry All, Tom. Guy helped me with a good, solid build, I think. I am very fortunate to have him as a neighbour and friend. Cheers!

Hey good morning and congrats on the new tractor! My neighbour Guy helped me out a lot and it is really practical - a must have I think. I would also offer that it may be helpful to search on KZbin - lots of other builds by folks and many have some great ideas or adds that you might find interesting or helpful. Cheers and enjoy your tractor ad best of luck with your build!

@@GPOutdoors Thanks! I’m loving it so far! Graduated from an open Simplicity landlord garden tractor, getting worn out. Already seeing the need for tire chains, as an ice storm made traction difficult, even with the R-14 tires & 4 wheel drive. Hint when putting the loader back on, don’t forget to check on the level indicator rod as your lining up the loader into the cradles! Only one week in, & that rod went inside the grill guard without me realizing it as I slowly drove in, hyper focused on aligning the cradle brackets, & as soon as I curled the bucket back, it made a rapid 90 degree bend, right into the top of the hood! First scratch out of the way in a sickening instant. 😲😬😖😫 You have a very enjoyable channel going! Thank you for sharing your growing wisdom!!! 😊😊

Thank you, I really appreciate you and the videos you've made. I'm in the process of making my first tractor purchase...we're building on a 10 acre lot in VT...I'm 60 and will be like a big kid on his new toy when I finally get my tractor. Again, thank you for all the great information. Cheers!

Good morning and congratulations Fred! That's great news - you and yours must be very excited. Ia m happy if the videos help a little or offer ideas. LOL. You will be like a little kid for sure.:)) I imagine you are looking at a larger tractor than my B, for the 10 acres, and I wish you well with the new property build and the tractor! Cheers!

I use my carry all as a lifting fork to move portable blinds that are on legs. So my carry all box is removable. thx for the video.
@doogiek136 жыл бұрын
just built one very similar to yours for my Kubota 2301. It is going to be very useful as a carry all and also to create ballast when I am moving wood with my forks. I was going to build permanent sides on mine until I saw your video. Glad I saw your build before I made mine.

Glad it helped Doug! I figured it was better so I could also carry larger items. I use it in video #34 for carrying my blocks from a few trees that came down. Worked great. Have a good weekend!

Nice job! When I built one for my father while in high school, I put a 1-1/2x1-1/2" angle frame welded to the lower frame and bolted the boards to it. This made easy to replace boards, and also protected the boards from the abuse that I knew my father was going to do to it. And yes he did! I also used double channel welded continuously for the bottom. And he did break it once!!!!! The put a 15' telephone pole on it and tried to lift a 350 V8 with it. Those were the good old days!!!! You will find this very useful!!!! But don't try to lift V8's with it.
@GPOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
LOL Kevin! I'll try to stay away from the V8's and keep it to V6's only. :)) Thanks for the story. I always enjoy reading them. Sounds like he put it to the test - more than once! A good idea to put some angle frame on the sides to help with support. Thanks Kevin. Have a great weekend and all the best! Cheers!

Incredibly IMPRESSIVE home shop. Looking Good,,guys. I,too have a good set up only because the neighbors CONSTANTLY bring me their broken equipment to repair. I've fallen in love with my local Harbor Freight as well as Northern Tool. Since I am a retired Dept. Of Sanitation diesel mechanic for NEW YORK STATE,, ( put in my 30 years),, I just COULDN'T stay away from TINKERING,,,as you fine gents seem to be very well versed at. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your channel and never watch WITHOUT my coffee!!!!!!! HA HA HA. Kinda wish I had a neighbor/partner like you do,,,but I have my middle son,,,,,,,when I can wake him up. Sure wish WE were neighbors,,,cause we'd have lots of fun building projects together. You guys are AWESOME!!!!!! LOVE the channel. Found another old soul with a passion like mine,,so I'm a follower for life........KEEP IT UP ,,,,,,,,,,,,Great Work!!!! God Bless and Happy and Healthy New Year to you😊😊😊😊😊😊

You guys would get along great, it sounds like. Congrats on retirement - that is wonderful. Can't wait till I get there one day. Have a wonderful week and thanks again Frank! Enjoy the cup of joe!

Weld some caster wheels on the bottom, makes it easier to move around when it's not on the tractor.
@GPOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Good morning Dave. Had that suggestion from a few folks so I just may do that during the winter. I think I may do it on a few skids for a couple of attachments too cause it is much harder trying to get them mounted in the winter. Thanks!

before you get too many videos. you should make playlists eith videos that have certain jobs and attachments for different playlists

Hey thanks- I will check that out. Thanks for the suggestion and have a great week!

How about adding wheels to the four corners. This would allow for it to go into the shop for loading and unloading without the need for the tractor. Also, allow you to make precise movements with it, like storing it while not in use. All would be load dependent. Could make a removable wheeled dolly it could sit on.
@GPOutdoors6 жыл бұрын
Hey good evening Tom. Thanks very much. That is a great idea! Big wheels on it would work well in the dirt as well as rolling it into the workshop. Thanks ! Sounds like a good winter project. Have a great weekend and thanks again! Cheers!

Hey Gord, how well has the plywood sides held up after a year of weather, and being bungie corded?
@GPOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Good morning Todd. Surprisingly well I have to say. It's 3/4 " ply and so far, so good. Since I had it around I thought I would use it but didn't expect it to last too long but it has. We'll see how long keeps lasting out in the weather. Cheers !

Good morning Joe! That's great. I would love to see the build from scratch for yours. A Carry all is an excellent idea for the Bolens as it can do some much around the property. It will make for a good project! And "likes" are always welcome. LOL. Cheers and have a wonderful weekend!
