its very easy, as you release your own natural hair out of the large braids, the crochet hair just slide out as you undo your braids. it all just releases.

I just cut it close to the roots, and pull the little pieces out

I cut mine out and pull the little knot out with my fingers. It's not your real hair so u can cut it as short as u want. Once it's cut the little knots are really easy to pull out. It shouldn't even take an hour to get them out.

When I take mine out, I usually cut the hair near the root (base) then unravel the knot. In another comment, she stated that she takes the braid out and the crochets are released that way ❤
