I am a retired RCMP Officer living in a rural setting in Nova Scotia, Canada. I spend my time enjoying nature and feeding my furry friends, the raccoons. I also feed the deer in the winter months and many varieties of birds. I have two rescue cats named Connor and Charlotte.

I just want to say hi and how adorable this is!!and ask for some of your guidance we have a baby raccoon we found her (we think it’s a girl )may 13th and we believe she was approx 2 to 3 weeks old her eyes weren’t opened fully but she was in the middle of the road if you could answer some questions if you had time that would be so helpful!!!! Jim, have you tried sugar free ice cream, candy and box cakes, baked bananas with a little choc. chips melted inside, or baked apples with cinnamon? Fresh sugar free baked goodies are also good for curbing that sweet desire.
