My guesses are that rec room made these prices so high because back in 2017 players couldn’t purchase tokens,so many communities reached out to rec room saying that they will spend a lot of money on this game,and that they wanted to support the game,so rec room saw these communities so they added tokens and added items with a crazy prices because players said they wanna spend alot

My favorite Most expensive item I purchased are the Rec Rock shades. It goes well with my outfit in my opinion and it is the best feeling when I am just hanging out in a Rec Center and a random kid comes up to me and asked where I got my glasses. I'm glad that I got AT LEAST 3 of the items mentioned, gives me reason to flex 😎 The ones I have are the Diamond Crown, (spent tokens on it) Astronaut Helmet, (from a lvl box thing) and the Science Wings (from an invasion event) So yeah, I feel really lucky to get most the expensive items for (technically) free! (Even if they don't look the best, except the diamond crown, ofc)

really good points though tara - i have priced some of my more labour-intensive dormskins at 10,000 tokens and sooo many people have a problem with it even though it takes sometimes hundreds of hours to create. i think i deserve 10,000 tokens per sale for a unique and cute dormskin, while sometimes a basic accessory costs way more in the store.

There's one thing I hate and it's the fact that not only are the pegasus wings expensive but you also need rec room+ in order to wear them which I find kinda unfair cuz not only am I extremely broke on there I've only got $75 tokens at the moment but I also don't wanna buy rec room+ just to wear some wings that I want especially for an outfit I was trying to make and for some reason I can't find any halos so if there's something I'm missing please do let me know
