Good day, Elena Victorovna! 🙂 The first I want to say thanks a lot for your great job as always. What about this story, I think perhaps Mr. Williams lost his wife when Elizabeth was a child and now his daughter reminds him of her. In this case Mr. Williams can be so overprotective. But on the other hand dad will have to let her daughter go sooner or later. Anyway, thank you for this story and this lesson 🤓

Hey, Elena! That's a good text you went through today! In general, it's all about me as a dad I've actually got two kids though. By the way, as it seems to me, her daddy is too dwelt on totally daughter's security, factually she's overprotected. But excessive guardianship isn't always a kindness, there's must be a some freedom sometimes, as I assume. Maybe not, I don't know... Thanks, Elena for the good text here! Lots of love! See you soon!

Thanks, Dave. I agree with you completely. Every conscious parent is worried about their child. It's easy to become overprotective in this case. But kids also need freedom. It should not be a limitless freedom, but at least a child mustn't feel under the pressure all the time. I remember the moment when I sent my kids to buy some bread for the first time. The bakery is 200 meters far from my house. But I can't see it from my window. During these 5-10 minutes when I lost visual contact with the kids, my imagination drew most horrible pictures))) But soon they came back, very happy, with bread and buns in their hands. And everything was well. They devil is not as black as he is painted))

@@okenglish-practice Yeah, exactly! This is a good life story, Elena! I love eating baking products too, it's one of my strangers from my childhood, maybe. Here in the Honolulu, we often go together into the city center (it's called Waikiki Beach) to purchase something delicious, for me and my kids too. I'm at home for the time being but I hope I'll start working closely by March 'cause I already have a new contract for this year, 2021. I didn't tell you about my job, I don't remember but if you're interested in this stuff, I'd share with you some details of my profession and to tell you a little bit about my career. If you don't mind that, of course. My wife is away for a while, she's busy with her own business (I've told you about her) and I gotta bring up our kids on my own! But they're mischievous sometimes! Four-year 'n' six-year-old boys. Some parents are often inclined to worry about their kids in vain, for no reason. But that time children must feel some responsibility and permissible freedom, as I suppose. I don't like it when other parents are excessively strict to kids, much is prohibited etc. By the way, Vanessa (a wife) considers so and she's always thought so. I was brought up by my parents in a free way enough. I was allowed much but I've never crossed the red line, I didn't drink alcohol 'n' smoke, never had a drugs. (And now I hate drinking alcohol, smoking too in spite of the fact I'm an adult man) I remember well many of my classmates at secondary school already had a sex (sorry but it's true) when they were 14-15 years old, in the US here it's normal. A sexual education is taught very early here so that many young people couldn't go behind their back (this our idiom means to do something awful, shameful in a secret way, so that no one could know about it). And now I'm trying to educate our kids in this way, without pernicious habits at all. We're succeeding in doing that, as I see it. It was also pleased to chat with you, Elena today! I hope we can blabber to each other from time to time, I like this idea. 'Cause it's an additional practice for you and a good mood for me, isn't it?! Thanks so much! See you soon!

@@davesmith6436 Hi, Dave. You never told me about your job. I remember you told that you take care of your kids. It's great that you can focus on your career now. When my son was small, I wanted to work but I couldn't leave him. He needed me a lot. So I decided to focus on my internet career and create a video blog. It was 5 years ago, when he was 3 years old. It turned out to be a great opportunity for me. At that time there was no talking about remote education, quarantine and so on)) No one could have thought that KZbin education would become trendy. So my decision to stay home and develop my digital educational content was sheer luck. Well, I also agree that kids need their parents' explanations about everything. We, parents, should explain our attitude about different things. If we don't do it, then someone else will. If you have bad attitude to alcohol, you should teach your kids to stay away from it and give your reasons. I remember my day would tell me that if I used drugs at least once, he would through me out of the balcony)) I think I will say the same thing to my kids if they ask me about that)))

10:51 - it is beautiful story 14:49 - Unfortunately, he is right. Dozens of young children have disappeared in Russia for several years. Only some cases were solved. The details are horrifying. Drugs and alcohol cause terrible treatment of children. The children are dead. They died in agony. The killers talk about it calmly. Do they live in a different reality? I don't know. I show my 7-year-old daughter the facts. It is such facts that convince her to be more careful. Here, for example kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5rVgY2endytf68. This is one case out of many.

It all depends on how he lost his wife and the girl's mother. Therefore, his behavior and overprotectiveness can be understood and explained. In any case, thank you for your great work. I really want a playlist with advanced level texts. At least I did not find such a playlist on your channel. Perhaps I didn’t search well (. It’s just that your presentation of English impresses me more than on other KZbin channels.
