I can remember when 23 was in Hameln, that was back in the late 60’s-70’s I was in 29 field squadron There was always rivalry Once a sapper, always a sapper

They seem to be making hard work of that. In my day we all knew what to do without all the shouting. The only voice was “Towards the gap….. heave. “ and indeed “pin in.”

I reckon they were encouraged to do it for production purposes. The majority of viewers won't have a clue about what's going on. It would probably have been a lot more impressive if it was as silent as possible with someone narrating.
