I think so! Those aren't necessarily high enough for scholarships, however, for regular acceptance Howard looks at your application holistically. So like extracurriculars, rec letters, essays, etc.

Two questions. 1) Does Howard have a recruiting offices on the West Coast? Students in Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Oxnard may not have knowledge of this fine university. 2) Does this fine university engage in cricket tournaments wherein players interface with teams in the West Indies, e.g, Trinidad, Jamaica, among the many Caribbean islands? Looking at Howard's roster of alumnae/alumni, there is every reason to believe Howard provides just as fine an undergraduate/graduate experience as any other.

Hi! I don't think there are specific recruiting offices anywhere, however you can check out info on the school's admissions website. I also believe there are different programs for students from the islands. I don't think we have cricket here :/

How are the dorms at Howard? And can you choose your roomate?

As an incoming freshman, I was able to choose my roommate, however I think now they do it by similarities. Freshmen housing is pretty good, there's all boys; Drew (communal bathrooms) they have singles, doubles and triples and Cook (shared bathroom with your roommate) also has doubles and triples I believe.

Hi, I don't go to Howard but for your SAT scores it's best to at least have 1200-1350+ for most colleges and with practice you can get there! I know some universities (prairie view for example) accept SAT scores that are 1000. Most colleges look at your extracurricular's, and essay's and sometimes they'll like that about you so much that they'll choose someone with extracurricular's and a slightly lower score than someone with a higher score and no volunteer/organization work so try to involve yourself in as many activities as you can!
