I lived in SF the day the buildings came down. I remember spending the whole day in front of the tv in disbelief. Sad day. 🇺🇸 #neverforget 🕊️

Not to disparage the sadness of 9/11/01 but when I was young I was a bike messenger for an outfit in lower manhattan during the summers, and whenever I had a delivery to the towers, I got a sickening feeling walking up to the buildings, checking in, and going up those elevators. The buildings swayed and all you could see was through those slivers of glass looking out onto the city. Walking the halls made me seasick bc you could always feel the movements of the buildings. I couldn’t wait to get outa there. I finally told dispatch to stop sending me to WTC.
