We are not "little gods ", HOWEVER we are "co-creators with God" when it comes to what we manifest in our daily Christian lives, by the very fact of free will* and the choices we make, which have repercussions and ramifications. What we sow, we reap! If that's not a type of creation, by our thoughts, choices and actions, then I don't know what is. You cannot pretend that everything is preordained when it comes to our lives, otherwise we would not have free will to sin or not to sin....🤔 While most things God has already determined, the choice to choose him or deny him, is supposed to be each individual's, according to the scriptures

You are absolutely correct. We should listen to all perspectives and then study the scriptures ourselves and then (through the leading of the Holy Spirit) make a decision on what is right or what is wrong. Ultimately we alone will stand before God and give an account for our lives. Justin Peters will not stand by your side when Jesus is judging you. Therefore you should not whole heartedly follow his teachings either. For I find some of the things he teaches to be incorrect as well. But I wouldn’t put him in the same category as a false teacher like a Creflo Dollar.

I remember my best friend tried to lead me to DePlantis and I just couldn’t engage and couldn’t understand why. At the time I was a new Christian but not long after I knew exactly why. The Holy Spirit was protecting me. She was always looking for a quick fix or get rich scheme. I tried and shared the true Gospel but she didn’t want to hear it. Not long after the Lord took me in a different direction. It was sad to lose my best friend but I would follow the Lord over man any day.

I grew up in the prosperity gospel, and my dad is a pastor. I am so ashamed of that. I'm 42 years old and I thank God for preachers like Justin who I have learned soooo much from and I have literally been re programing my brain. It's so hard still having family deeply rooted in this garbage and I can't stand having conversations with them,in fact I stay away from them now as much as I can. I can tell you these people are narcs to the core!!! And they have no empathy for the sick and poor and weak.Money is their god. I have clear memories of TBN playing in the background of my grandparents homes as a little girl. I always knew in my gut something was very wrong with all of what I was being taught and I could see evil in them. I remember many years ago telling my father that his idol, Kenneth Copeland was demonic. And now it's so obvious even to non christians just how wicked that man is!!! I thank God so much for the conviction He gave me all my life. Now I am going through sanctification which I knew nothing of, and I'm growing close to the Lord, and and I am extremely grateful for people like Justin sharing the real gospel,the real truth, and exposing these frauds.🙏

I see that word of faith and prosperity gospel denies you of your personhood. I'm seeing that many violations of the ten commandments are happening with these teachings in including: Thou shalt not have other gods before me: little God theory, New age, money, power Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not covet Thou shalt not bear false witness. You are right. You are not allowed to be broken. You are not a Christian if you are sick, poor or weak. The prosperity gospel does not define Jesus' teaching. He came for the poor, the widows, and destitute. The sermon on the mount explains this... Jesus spoke out against the pharasee and sadusees for there legalism and abuse. He overturned the tables at the temple because they were making it a house of thieves. The prosperity gospel teachers are doing the same thing. Watch some of Costi Hinns vids. He tells how it is done ..

@Mary Rogers It’s easy for anyone to say anything; in the comments, in front of an audience, and even for Peters. And many misuse, pick and choose scriptures to do it. I’ve even heard Atheists who made a lot of sense with their theology too. I don’t believe them, and it sounds good, but for those who don’t know God, Jesus, or scriptures they could be drawn into believing. But once you read or listen to the scriptures, especially paying great attention to Jesus’ words and actions, it’s becomes easier to know when any of them are straight out lying or in err about something. I have no bias for or against any person, although the people he showed in the video I never listen to because they are ridiculous people who say many ridiculous things. Are they Christians?....I don’t know their hearts but God does and Peters claims he does. If I hear someone say something for or against what I think or believe I check the scriptures and other (several) teachers of those scriptures. BUT I do it keeping in mind God is a loving God and ask myself what would Jesus do or say about that since he came to destroy the works of the devil , do the will of the Father and only did what he saw his and my Father do. Example: I actually saw a comment praising and thanking God for someone’s infirmity before. Which means she was really attributing an infirmity to God when Satan’s only jobs are to steal, kill and destroy. Well, compare that to what Jesus did with infirmities....he never thanked and praised the Father for them. He ALWAYS healed them under the conditions of either belief, faith, or coming to him. So, if that woman I mentioned were a teacher, she wouldn’t be teaching God heals. I would know based on scripture she is in err. Peters doesn’t believe in healing, therefore he doesn’t believe Jesus. He would therefore deny healings that have occurred and have others that seek or need healing believe it can’t happen for them. Peters says people aren’t Christians when he disagrees with their theology, but a Christian is one who believes Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life (wow, to think that’s possible for us once we come to the knowledge of Christ), died on the cross for all our sins, and rose again on the third day. Being a ‘Christian’ is that simple. No matter how wrong they are about other things, no matter how obnoxious, ridiculous, repulsive, or loud they get doesn’t mean they’re not Christian.

Love this guys ministry. My experience with "Charismania" began when I got disappointed at my Calvary Chapel family for being so unemotional and spiritually rigid. I thought they were unloving and judgmental toward more courageous and "freer" churches, so I went for greener pastures that would indulge my emotional nature and give more opportunities to "see God move". I wanted to see miracles and have more personal power as a Christian, with a dynamic ministry. Feeling righteous all along the way, I participated in what Vineyard Churches (and offshoots) called "counter-culture" ministries that were super active in musical worship, home groups, helping poor & homeless people and Christianizing the arts. Who would argue that is not God's will? It was fun. Vineyard churches had extravagant worship music, extensive prayer times, audience participation with "manifestations of the spirit", i.e.; prophetic utterance, trembling, tongues, word of knowledge, etc. I was taught that only a small amount of prophesies had to be true. The Word of God was not to be overdone or you'd be criticized as have a "religious spirit". We danced in church. We were there to be refreshed, so conviction for sin rarely fell upon us. We acted as deliverance ministers at crusades, casting out demons and doing unverifiable healing's. We had Christian rock concerts. We attended conferences with Rodney Howard Brown and the like where "miraculous signs" occurred, like falling backward in "the anointing fire of God and "soaking in the spirit" in ecstacy on the carpet for hours. In crowds, we felt channels of energy move us corporately called, "the River of God". At such events, there were people claiming to have received golden fillings in their teeth in the shape of crosses. One such friend of mine died of a sudden brain aneurism after she got her "fillings" and died. Several leaders died of cancer. People were often infrequent in church attendance. Enough people in those circles yoked themselves with sorcery, fornication and drugs that eventually, I too fell away, into a backslide. I stopped going to church altogether and was trapped in a netherworld, uncomfortable around believers and unbelievers. I eventually forgave Calvary for setting their face like flint and stubbornly walking stable with God. Eventually, I came back to another Calvary Chapel, even though they play down social programs, home groups, street ministry, soup kitchens, interdenominational "Unity" events and things other churches commonly did. Why? Because of one singular and all powerful issue. To ensure that God is always the primary focus and gets all glory, they equip the saints with true doctrine, teaching the Bible, line upon line and verse upon verse. We do have holiday events, like Christmas night and New Years Eve at the Pastors house- a great venue for the singles. They have only occasional potlucks, have unmixed and mixed bible studies at the sanctuary. We go to annual retreats and have unmixed conferences in church as supplements.My church would never join an ecumenical organization, be in a unity event or program. Close friendship's take time to cultivate. I am constantly being warned against falling into sin. I am in the right place after all. When my Pastor says, "I Love You", I say, "I know, because you always tell me the truth. I love the Truth and His name is Jesus.

What you've said reminds me of Luke 6:26, where Jesus Himself says this: "Woe to you when all men speak well of you! For so did their fathers to the false prophets." This means that if you're the pastor of a church and everybody is applauding and shouting "hurray" for you all the time, you're in a world of trouble. However, if you're preaching God's Word as it needs to be preached, you'll be hated and rejected by many, which is what Jesus experienced when He was here on Earth, but the good news is that He will use the preaching to save His people. In fact, in Isaiah 55, the Lord Himself declares that as the rain and the snow come down to water the earth and do its thing, so will be His Word that goes forth from His mouth. It will not return to Him void, but will accomplish whatever He pleases and will prosper in the purpose for which He sent it.

Interesting comment. Right from the beginning, Adam and Eve were tempted with the idea that they would not die and they could become like God and the idea has been perpetuated ever since. In ancient Babylon, Nimrod (the founder of Babylon),Tamuz and Semiramis (Nimrod,s son & wife) became deified. The Egyptians believed their pharaohs were deified and the present day Mormons believe that if you are good enough to be elevated to the celestial kingdom of heaven, you can become a god and get your own planet. Mormons preach that the reality of the attonment is becoming one with God, to receive the power from God, that makes a god a god. Likewise the pharaoh has to become one with God to become a god. The Mormons derive the erroneous idea from their false Book of Abraham that when Abraham was in Egypt he conveyed this deification idea to the pharaoh indicating that this doctrine originally came from God and not from Babylon. It is amazing how many millions adhere to these satanic fairy tales. I believe the bible simply tells us that when we die, we cease to exist, aware of nothing at all, and live again when resurrected. This is the first death. The second death is eternal death, not eternal cruel torment. Hell fire is also a figment of some pagan,s immagination, instigated by Satan - and so is the eternal soul that never dies. The soul that sins, it shall die. The living are conscious that they will die, but the dead are conscious of nothing at all. Sounds very simple to me. If people go to heaven or hell when they die, what is the purpose of judgment day when judgement for them has already taken place. This would be something like checking your lottery tickets in Canada. The machine tells you, you are a loser in english and then rubs it in in french. The word hell nevers shows up in the bible unless you go out of your way to put it there. The hebrew word SHEOL and the greek word HADES should be translated as grave not hell. Fire has always signified complete destruction, not torture. I somehow think that our choice has always been between eternal life and eternal death, not eternal life and eternal torture let alone wether or not we choose to become gods. A God who claims to be the God of love would never stoop to such cruelty. It would not be a just punishment for sins that can be forgiven by a simple act of repentance. Let,s avoid the second death, then we will find out what no man has heard or seen what God has in store for those who are faithful.

John 1:29 "...Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." What must you do to be saved? YOU MUST REPENT; You must change from unbelief to belief. admit you are guilty, that you cannot do anything to save or help save yourself, and that you need Jesus Christ as your savior. Titus 3:5 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done. but according to his mercy he saved us," Romans 3:28 "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." Romans 4:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." YOU MUST TRUST; placing your complete faith in what Jesus Christ already did to save you; John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:." I was caught up in the Word Faith movement and had a deeply troubled mind that was tormented by the fear tactics of Hinn and Paulk. I honestly thought I was on my way to hell because of the fear that I had blasphemed the Holy Spirit, due to the barrage of nasty thoughts that kept flooding my mind. Not helping matters was Hinn repeatedly warning his audience not to speak ill of the Holy Spirit, which was really a warning not to question Hinn's false prophecies and Prosperity mesage

Only when I was encountered actual demons appeared to me one day as bodiless forms I knew I am going to be in hell . One demon had a grey colored face , ( no body ) and another demon with light brown color over wrapping each other , it’s about 6 seconds and they both disappeared from my sight . The Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge by Schaff-Herzog says in volume 12, page 96, "In the first five or six centuries of Christianity there were six theological schools, of which four (Alexandria, Antioch, Caesarea, and Edessa, or Nisibis) were Universalist; one (Ephesus) accepted conditional mortality; one (Carthage or Rome) taught endless punishment of the wicked." A most crucial and important in point in church history: when Emperor Constantine militarized and politicalized the church, the teaching of Hell became a more powerful weapon of control than a loving God who loved all mankind. At that point the teaching of universal salvation began to be stamped out through severe persecution. The result? The church created what we now call "The Dark Ages." Before the Dark Ages, the church was vibrant with the teaching of God's love for all mankind. The second major church council composed of hundreds of bishops from the entire church met in Constantinople in 381 AD and elected Gregory of Nazianzus, an avowed Universalist, as president proving clearly that the great majority of the church leadership at the end of the fourth century believed in universal salvation. Yet today universal salvation is considered a heresy in most denominations. The early church better versed in the original languages of the Scriptures and closer to the apostles' teachings thought otherwise. Who do you think is more likely to have the truth? The early Church or the thousands of divisions of Christianity formed by men "drawing disciples after themselves" centuries later? (Acts 20:30) Well-known and great men and women have embraced the "larger Hope" (as some coined the teaching of the salvation of all mankind.) Abraham Lincoln believed it. Perhaps his belief in the salvation of all mankind was Lincoln' s driving force to end slavery in this country. Benjamin Rush, a signer of the Declaration of Independence believed it. Famous theologians like Karl Barth, B.F. Westcott, and William Barclay embraced it. Those who embrace this scriptural doctrine today are usually born from above, morally conservative, serious students on the Bible and are usually more versed in church history and the original languages of the Bible than the average Christian. They believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and they are very Scripture-centered. The main difference between those who believe in the "Doctrine of Inclusion" is that they have greater faith in God's love, mercy, and power to save than those who think God's going to trash most of mankind. And this belief, that Jesus will do what He promised to do...save the world...is the source of great persecution by the hands of our own brothers and sisters in the Lord. In Carlton's case, it may have cost him the election. Another trait of these believers in the Glorious Gospel is that they believed denominationalism spoils the witness of one Lord and Savior and one body in the earth.

This is the first time I heard this. I was silently questioning the riches that are on display. But when I tried to look up how much is given to the poor and if they had some type of organization that they were paying into. Do they know how much that ring can buy in food for the poor. I dont believe everyone is supposed to be poor to serve God but before ourselves we need to make sure we are a conduit to transfer the riches to those who need it. What's left is what we can have. Materialism is running rampant among Christian's. I've seen people testify how much money they carry around but not help the visiting single mother with her children that are hungry and have to call an Uber to get home because no one wants to take them. I was blessed with a car and I used it to help people. I did it all the time. When my car breaks down theres not even a phone call to say hi. God please fix and guard my heart so I can continue feeding people and helping through my ministry of helping single mothers

A dangerous doctrine is any doctrine that departs from what the early church taught. Paul warns (Gal 1:8) "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: if anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!" The early church fathers did not teach Calvinism as you do. I have never once said God why aren’t you hearing my prayers for healing, and some people even told me why do you even pray & worship God ?? I told them the story of Job” One day I was watching Christian channel, and pastor Brian Huston was preaching as soon as I heard his voice I felt sick to my stomach the spirit in me wouldn’t accept listening to him, and I even warned so many of my friends not to attend his church btw I knew nothing about him..or his father until years later I learned his father was the founder of the Hillsong church in Sydney Australia his name was Frank Huston who was charged later on in his life that he was sexually abusing little boys, and now his son Brian Huston is facing the same charges, and being investigated unbelievable.! I’ve always trusted my gut instinct , and people ask me how did you know?? I was told that I have the gift of discernment, but I didn’t know what that meant?? Ladies from my Bible study group told me this over & over again, but until then I didn’t know about discernment, and I’m so grateful coz I even chose my sons friends when they were in high school and it wasn’t easy to raise two boys as a single mother in this dark world we’re living in and I thank God almighty every day.!! These are things that I thought about after I left the Word of Faith "Church." #1--I didn't grow much spiritually when I was there. It seemed like the only Scripture they talked about was Mark 11;23 and others like it...I started going there in September 1984... Around 🎄 Christmas of 2022, I listened to the Pastors video and he was still talking about the exact same thing..They say the same stuff over and over and over again... It's hard to grow spiritually when the Pastor teaches like that.......

I was saved in a Missionary Baptist church at 14 years of age. Later on I got involved in Pentecostal churches and for years I attended those kind of churches. Their preachers and teachers telling folks to live above sin. I always felt condemned but in my latter years I found a wonderful Missionary Baptist church and I attend faithfully and couldn't be happier. I have learned so much in the last six years. We all sin and fall short but glory to God we can seek forgiveness and God is willing to forgive us. Good works cannot save us but after we are saved we are called to do good works. Thank you pastor for saying that Jesus did not become sin but bore on Him the sins of the world. I heard a pastor preaching that Jesus became sin for us and many people believe this but it is a falsehood, He never sinned and just bore our sins to the cross.
