**I got into acrylic pouring after playing around with epoxy resin and wanting to do some art with it. After realizing the amount of time it took to prep and clean up, it wasn’t quite as appealing to me anymore. That’s when I stumbled onto some KZbin videos about acrylic pouring and I WAS HOOKED. This was in 2020, and with COVID running rampant, it was the perfect thing to keep me occupied and staying home, safe and sound. This art form is extremely cathartic and empowering at the same time.
There’s no greater feeling than pouring paint on to a canvas and watching magic happen before your eyes! I’m so honored to be displaying my work in two local restaurants and a gallery, Art Machine Gallery, here in Houston - so exciting! Thank you so much for coming along on this journey with me!**

Absolutely gorgeous, Britta. Thank you 🙏, so much, for the solution, I’ve been searching for, in regards to, how can I resin, certain sections of my finished piece. Also, big thank you, for explaining about the amount of torching required, with resin and the micro bubbles. Finally, I understand about the tension and why I have had so many issues with the micro bubbles, after a piece has dried 🙏♥️💐💐💐

Love it Britta! 😍 I love that you isolated the resin portion. Lately I've been into Pearl Pours as inspired by Sara Taylor! 💜 I just invested into some pricey tri-art and Golden paints besides all of my amsterdam paints and pouring supplies. and colour arte. lols I need another storage shelving unit! lols I started in acrylic pouring in 2017 abut then found resin pouring which I love! I will still coat all my paintings in resin since I love the finish, and yes, you DO need to spend time torching and torching. I also have these amsterdam pearl color paints. I may just break them out to do a pour again!

Ooooh I love doing Sara-style pearl pours, you go girl! And yes, you should try out the Amsterdam pearls in a regular pour! You’ll be hooked!

Hey Kathy, if you watch the beginning, you’ll see that only use two pearl colors before I add some black in. I don’t use all of them at once.
