Ian i'm really falling in love of your work!! you are really a fantastic artist. my English is not fantastic, is it drying retarder you use in the turquoise paint? i have a little secret for you, the best retarder is made with.... glycerin!! only glycerin! you can find 1 liter in a pharmacy for few dollars :-)

glycerin will work LIKE retarder , keeping your paint wet longer but it dose act differently when it finally dries

Hopefully someone can answer, what brush is it that he calls a stumbler or scrumbler brush? I would like a brush like that (medium sized “flat” one that had some thickness used for blending), but I can’t find one.

Hi. I am an Indian residing in Shanghai. Can you help me understand what exactly is white flow. I did some research and I learned that it is an impasto. I am new to art and painting. According to what I understood is that impasto paints are not good on canvas especially acrylics. Impasto are kind of poster paints ?

the flow white i use is also call poster paint, craft paint or student paint, i only use that with the retarder to condition my canvas ready for blending my skies

The poster paint and retarder ( here in Florida ) is not in the art painting section , it is in the craft section. Hopefully there too . The pouncers are also going to be found in the craft section and not the art section of your store I hope . .
