I DEFINITELY agree with Paddy that Jackson does think the world of Aaron. aww! LOVE that line. so sweet.

If I heard correctly, Hazel said under her breath re what Chaz might want: "some manners." Jackson sure has picked a difficult man to love. In the realm of no good deed will go unpunished, Jackson paid off the psycho to protect Aaron from bodily harm and restore some sanity, and then told Aaron he LOVED him. To no surprise Aaron hates both these acts of love, because he never backs down and doesn't love himself--which is why he never backs down. Thanks for the upload.

@JESSJUSTJESS Yes out of fear of losing Jackson, Aaron apologized. Allow me to summarize Aaron's psyche differently. Fear--fear of loss, fear that his love-deficient childhood was exactly what he deserved, fear of the opposite, that it wasn't his fault (lack of control). There are always different ways to summarize people, and though every summary may have some truth to it, the real Truth is you can't sum a person up.

Chas and Hazel are a good comic relief sometimes. It helps break the heavy drama that always seems to surround Aaron and Jackson. I hope Aaron changes his attitude soon about Jackson and the dreaded "L" word. When I was that age, I was very careful about even hinting that I loved somone until they pretty much let me know how they felt. It took me about three semi-relationships until I met the love of my life. Just sayin'...

@axelnelson First he could believe that Jackson loves him even though he doesn't deserve it. Then feeling that love, he might begin to love himself. The more he loves himself, the more he'll believe he deserves love. It takes a while. One thing that might speed it up is almost losing Jackson. I don't know whether the show has Aaron on the fast track, the slow track, or the wrong track to sorting this out. By sorting this out I don't mean thinking something through or a rational process.

@JESSJUSTJESS Aaron respects Paddy, and he's confessed that he needs Jackson. Now If he can just let Jackson's love trickle in past his hard outer shell, the effect could be quite overwhelming and transformative. Aaron's shell could crack, and that's no yolk. Of course, there's no guarantee this will happen.

@jodezak You didn't specify whom you were addressing. In any case, I never said anything about seeing, believing or that seeing is believing. Yes, it's what's on the inside--which, of course, does not negate the importance of what a person does. Language can point to what's on the inside, but it cannot ultimately capture it.

Paddy is right to tell Aaron Jackson cares about him. Like Jackson said, he couldn't have run faster had he had a machete. Just because he said he loved him. It's a heavy word but Aaron doesn't think he deserves love so that needs to change. It's hard for people to admit love when the person might not reciprocate. Jackson ran in embarrassment when Hazel told chas Jackson loved Aaron. Did she have to? Chas was happy and said you love my boy?

@ericnfan I hate that aaron told adam that just because him and jackson was having a laugh as he put it that he didn't expect to hear jackson tell him that he loved him! I mean jackson just wanted to say it at the moment because he felt it and was I am sure hoping aaron would of said it back to him. Goodness with poor clyde being murdered and this. It is like increased tension all the way around but that makes for a great show. :)

ok.. to comment on that... you are saying that by simply stating something you can"t sum a person up.. I agree only to an extent. I would not acertain to agree with you about seeing is believing idea but knowing who someone is doesn't go by what is said. It goes with knowing how they act and say and do and believe and ... so on and so on. It is everything as a package that makes who the person is not what they do but what is onteh inside
@jodezak14 жыл бұрын

@jodezak Why can't you sum a person up? Because ultimately what or who a person is cannot be expressed in language. That's not a reason in the sense of I'm happy because I won a prize or I hurt because I fell down. Instead, I'm simply stating a general truth in stronger terms.
