24 H à bord du Djinn7 - Navigation sur le BASSIN d' ARCACHON- Sailing on ARCACHON BAY-- # 21

Naviguer est un plaisir, sublimé par l' "itinérance" sur l'eau.
Nous avons passé 24 H à bord de notre DJINN 7, sur le BASSIN d 'ARCACHON.
Au gré du vent et des marées, nous sommes partis du Port d' AUDENGE, avons longé LANTON, ANDERNOS, puis nous avons posé l'ancre face à CLAOUEY pour la nuit.
Le matin, nous avons longé PETIT et GRAND PIQUEY, PIRAILLAN, puis nous avons rejoint l'île aux oiseaux et longé les cabanes tchanquées.
Nous nous sommes ensuite dirigés vers un banc de sable , entre Dune du Pyla et Phare du Cap Ferret.
Après une pause repas / baignade, nous avons longé cette pointe du Cap Ferret en sens inverse, par la conche du Mimbeau, la jetée Bélisaire, le village de l' HERBE, puis le cap vers le Port d' AUDENGE.

Sailing is a pleasure, enhanced by the "roaming" on the water.
We spent 24 hours aboard our DJINN 7, on the ARCACHON BASIN.
Following the wind and the tides, we set off from the Port of Audenge, sailed along LANTON, ANDERNOS, and then set anchor facing CLAOUEY for the night.
In the morning we went along PETIT and GRAND PIQUEY, PIRAILLAN, then we reached the bird island and along the huts chanquées.
We then headed towards a sandbar, between Dune du Pyla and Phare du Cap Ferret.
After a meal/ swimming break, we went along this point of Cap Ferret in the opposite direction, through the conch of Mimbeau, the jetty Bélisaire, the village of the HERBE, then heading towards the Port of AUDENGE.

Indeed, we did not have much luck with the tidal schedules, and the places where we absolutely wanted to spend the night , or to run aground for lunch, which forced us this time, not to be stranded elsewhere than where the plane planned, to make less sail and more engine, unfortunately. There are a lot of other boats out there, so it’s a little "overcrowded" in the warm season. You also have to pay attention to all the oyster farms, the tides and the water level, which varies a lot, depending on the place and the time. Also be careful, in low tides, to be well on a channel, the marking is not always very obvious. But it remains a pleasure. 💙🌊

Dear Ida, yes, it was really great. We sail often, and more rarely we spend the night on board as well. I love this rhythm on board, where time passes slowly and in the present moment. And I particularly like the moments of meals, and of bedtime, the taste of roaming.
