Diwali memory: my father is in the airforce so we have to shift houses every 2-3 years due to postings..last to last year my family had to leave Delhi and move to Jodhpur on the day before diwali. I was lonely and was missing my friends from Delhi... and suddenly on the day of diwali the whole compound of people came visiting our house to wish us and make us newcomers feel comfortable...it was so sweet of these entirely strange people to care for our needs...we became a huge family after that day😊

I am a Muslim but i give gifts to my friends. I have a really interesting Diwali memory of 2019. A friend (Neha)of mine came to my house on diwali but i wasn't there i was on my other friend's (shalini)house to give here a diwali gift and she came to my shalini's house and i was in my other friend's house (Jhanvi) and she finally met me after 4 hours of here and there. My fav memory of diwali was when i got hurt from dias. Actually i was wearing a sari and i stood against a wall and a dia was kept beside and my sari's end part caught fire and started burning and soon i saw and started calling everyone to help me... Then soon my daughter bought a bucket of water and then i got a sigh of relief..... Thank god.... But still i accompanied my daughter in burning the firecrackers.... The memory I have from diwali, was from the last diwali ..What happened was that I was so scared of burning jameen chakri but my father told me just try it for once and I try and again the same thing happened which makes me not to burn jameen chakri .As I burn it it just caught fire very quickly and it started rounding and the sparkles came on my legs and it just hurt my leg 😀 And happy diwali to you and your family also 🙏🙏lots of love diii ❤️❤️❤️

Doneee I remember when I was just in fourt std and there was painting going on at my house so I heard both the painters talking in their lunch break and one of them said to other that I saw a shirt of rs 100 bt paise nhi that isisliye nhi le paayaa... I had 120 rs saved from my pocket money and I went and gave him that❤️❤️❤️... Diwali memory: (Please read it till the end.) Although fire crackers were prohibited this year, there are a few people who still burned them in my area. There are 4 adorable puppies at the end of our street and I feed them everyday. That day, I saw them so afraid and shivering due of the noise. Nobody seemed to care about those little innocent animals. So I decided to take them to my home. The mother dog accompanied me. I took them inside my house where there is less noise. I fed them and they later fell asleep. Now, they live with me, they play with me all day. I love them a lot. This is my best Diwali ever. PS: Please adopt street dogs. Don't buy animals from shops. It's really awful to treat living beings as things and selling them for money. #adoptdontbuy #streetdogslove

Diwali memory: that much awaited afternoon when we would be taken to the shops to purchase our choice of sweets, the endless parties night after night in the week of Diwali as we made rounds to the homes of close friends and family. Turning all the lights onn in the house on Diwali night, but first checking, to see there were no fused bulbs. There definitely were some not-so happy moments which we all laugh at today, such as when my hair went up in flames from a stray sparkler(phooljhadi). But overall, the outstanding memories are those magic moments of sharing and happiness and non-stop partying. So, around the time of Diwali, When I was about 12yrs old I went shopping with my family for sweets, and I kept saying that we should instead ask my grandmom for sweets cause she was an awesome cook and that childish persuasion motivated my grandmom to start her sweets home supply store exactly the next Diwali, and this has been the fondest memory of all my life.
