24-Hour Orienteering 2017 in Etterwinds Part 1

On May 26th to 28th, 2017, it was time again. The Jena UPS invited one of the most beautiful orientation tours in Germany to Etterwinden in the Thuringian Forest.
899 starters ran on 33 lanes in teams of 6 people each 160 posts and the whole in 12 or 24 hours. The youths up to 14 could also complete a 4 hour orientation course.
Catering around the clock and 2000 eggcakes provided a great atmosphere.
In the first part, I will show you some impressions from the area around the WKZ, the start and the competition itself.
