The Favorites is coming to me next week and I can't wait to read it. A Killing Cold is already on my shelf so eventually I'll read it. Writing skill is very important in my books, as a writer myself it irks me when the writing is lazy. I've heard mixed opinions and I usually agree with yours.

You and I are 100% on the same page of A Killing Cold. That was two hours of my life I will never get back. I found neither the plot, the characters, the same twist that we twisted through a million times or the ending to be even remotely redeeming. I read it in the second week of January and I didn't like anything about it when I first finished it and as I get further away from it I dislike it more and more. I can't understand how it has such good reviews.
