I visited Alberta in September and drove from Jasper to Banff. This video brought back awesome memories - thanks for showing the glaciers! I didn't get a chance to stop there.

Sometimes, living in Edmonton, I forget how absolutely spectacular Alberta really is! I think I'm going to have to round up some friends for a weekend trip to see the Athabasca Glacier soon; I've been to Banff and Jasper plenty of times but I've never gone to the glacier!

Wait, you've never had pouding chômeur before? Really? As a fellow Canadian, I'm kind of shocked! They have it as a dessert option in a lot of St-Hubert restaurants, and it's pretty easy to make. It's basically a white cake boiled in maple syrup. It's very popular in Quebec (I'm in Ontario). The mountains are soooo gorgeous! I'd love to go some day!
