The road near Museum is not an Autobahn and there is a speed limet down there. I guess 100kmh or even less. On roundabout 60% of all Autobahnkilometers theres no speed limit. BUT theres a big missunderstanding here. It does not mean, that you are allowed to drive as fast as you want. Law is, that you must always be able to control your vehicle at any speed. If you cause an accident at high speed, court will check, if that accident also would have happend at slower speed. If so, you will be punished. A foreigner with no experience on german roads should never try to drive top speed. If you ask me, same goes to most germans... Glad you enjoyed your time here Cheers from Stuttgart
